Method of Color treatment

Every part of the body has a specific colour e.g. blue is for treating the problems concerning the head. Neck and face, Orange is for diseases of the chest, yellow is for the problems of stomach and violet and purple is for the problems of the Sex organs and sexual diseases. Therapists treat a disease according to their knowledge and expertise, using these colours and their combinations.

Principle:
When the ratio of required colours in one or more centers of the colours imbalances, it gives rise to various problems and When the colours balance, diseases are easily cured. In order to overcome the deficiency or to normalize excess of a colour, Sunlight or the artificial lights are used.

Method of treatment:
Treatment using colours is so simple that even a man of common understanding can make good use of this therapeutic system. It takes less time at an affordable cost, almost none to get well.

The following methods can be used for treating diseases under This therapeutic system:

Exposing body intermittently in the sunlight for brief intervals. Spectrum of the sunlight contains all the colours in it, and exposure of the body before the sunlight provides it a chance to absorb the colour required by it. Colours of the light are the actual remedy for the diseases; heat of the sunlight is extra thing, which the body receives.

a) Have a glass bottle of the required colour. After cleansing it with hot water, fill it with distilled water or with water that has been sterilized by boiling. Let one fourth of the bottle remain empty. If the bottle of the required colour is not available. Take an ordinary transparent glass bottle and enwrap it in a cellophane paper of required colour in such a manner the bottle is covered from all sides using transparent adhesive tape.

b) Place this bottle in the sunlight, keeping it on a wooden surface for four to six hours. The best time to treat water with coloured rays is from 10am till 4pm.

c) Accumulation of droplets in the empty surface of the bottle is an indication that the water has been charged enough. Keep the bottle properly secured with cork or stopper. If bottle of many colours are to be charged, do not place the close to another so that no bottle be over shadowed with a bottle of a different colour.

d) Dosage: Par adults: 2-ounce Chromatized Water for children: I-ounce, for babies: 1-table spoon and for infants one teaspoon

Caution:
Use only plastic cups or spoons for administering charged/Chromatized Water.

In the rainy season electric light bulb can be used instead of natural light. Another arrangement for charging the tablets of sugar of milk in the bottle of required colour before the rainy season is for six hours daily for one month and during summer time, fifteen to twenty days charging or Chromatization would be sufficient.

Using glasses of various colours in front of a projector can also provide us with rays of the required colour. Even in this way the medicines can also be prepared.

Get windowpanes painted with the required transparent colour or use coloured panes of required colour on the windows from where the sunlight could come into the room and the patient could sit or lie in that light, in such a manner that light pouring into the room should fall on the affected part of the body for duration deemed necessary.

A wooden or hardboard box, installed with a reflector and a bulb of 100 watts. Having a window of appropriate size, can be used to get the rays of required colour. The window of the box is to be covered with coloured glass or a cellophane sheet of the colour needed. When the bulb would be switched on the light coming out of the box can be directed towards the affected pall of body from a distance of about 2 feet.

In treatment of the diseases under this therapeutic system, Chromatized oil has also proved very effective. The method of preparing Chromatized oil is to charge the flax or linseed oil under the sunrays for forty days, in glass bottles of required colours or 200 hrs under the artificial light. For massaging the affected part of the body this oil is used but for using on the head or as hair oil the sesame seed oil charged with sunrays using the glass bottles of sky blue colour is recommended. This oil is very effective to nullify the effects of heat in the blood, hearing of voices and sparks or black spots seen flying before the eyes.

Glass ampoules of distilled water can be charged and Chromatized in a jar or required colour for 200 hours under the sunlight or electric lights.

Soar eyes, conjunctivitis and post operation pains of eyes can be helped to cure using the spectacles with sky blue glasses, in the day time with intervals of fifteen to twenty minutes after every two to three hours.

For treating the burns, cuts and inflammatory wounds petroleum jelly Chromatized in blue glass jars for two hundred hours under the sun’ gives, remarkable affects. It cure the wounds and burns so effectively that even the scars are not seen later on when the wounds are healed, provided that the this treatment could be started immediately after receiving the cuts of burning and should be used till the scars are there. In most or the cases just one to two week’s treatment heals the wounds perfectly.

The light, heat and color of vibrant rainbow waves create effective vibration not only in human but animal tissues as well. This frequency creates effects on the tissues.

Sunlight has Mineral & gases included which is an important component of human food. Food gives us energy & strength. If we use food and light (combination of colors) together it increases energy two folds.

Example:
One day I (Khwaja Shamsuddin Azeemi) was inspired that sunlight has all the colors and these colors fulfill our nutritional requirements. If we store sunlight in our biological system it can fulfill our nutritional requirements. According to the program I use to sit facing towards east before sunrise and through breathing pointed my mind towards a specific aliment and stored sun rays into my stomach. As a result there was no need for food except for water and neither did I felt any weakness, however when walking it felt much lighter and the impression of walking in space was created, solid walls were seen as made of paper.

Colors & Vitamins:
Sun is an important source for the extraction of Vitamin “D". Sunlight contains vitamins other than Vitamin D as well and every vitamin is related to some color.

CHARACHTERISTICS OF COLORS:

All colors discharge waves of pulsation which create the feeling of cold or heat after colliding to an object. The wave length of Red color is the longest due to which the frequency created is the slowest. The wave length of violet color is least due to which it creates the fastest frequency.

Red color creates the feeling of Heat while sky blue color creates the effect of coldness. Green color is the one that creates balance.

The density of Red color limit it’s frequency and movement against this the Blue color creates the feeling of spaciousness in the environment.

Different colors create different feelings/effects e.g. Burnt (itch) by Red, Warming effect from Orange, Light warming from Yellow, Green feels no warm no chill and jujube affects cold with pinching feeling.

Color creates feelings of byte, cut, hurt, crush or hit or sting.

People don’t normally think about colors. We are inspired by viewing pictures/paintings but don’t give attention towards the nature of colors.

Red, Orange & Yellow colors extricate laziness & weakness. There is a saying of a Researcher that putting patients in Pink color environment subdues the emotions of violence and revenge. Pink color acts as a tranquilizer for veins and muscles. The effects of Pink color are now used to balance sex, family disputes, business matters and jails. Through Pink color anger is lowered. RED COLOR
Red Rays are found in the following things:

Mental characteristics of Red Color:
In this color the emotions of deep interest, will power & love are involved. When the affairs of life are affected, relationships come to an end and expectations are broken and no opinion or plan works, in this condition Red color becomes predominant in the core-center of mind. When mind is under the influence of Red color, everything seems to be red.

The imbalance of Red color in the red-color center (in mind) is the proof of abnormal emotional attachment or spoiled emotions.

People who posses Red color in balance; help other people, those people keep worrying about Humanity and their race. They utilize all their abilities in favorite activities.

The people under influence of Red color spend good life. Since they cannot control themselves regarding eating, drinking and other matters, therefore, they are fatter. We necessarily pass through an era of life when Red color is predominant than all the other colors. At the time of adolescence red color becomes very powerful. It is an interesting thing that in boxers oxidized red color is dominant. The person with prevailing Red color takes special care of his/her health. Predominant Red color people are interested in bodybuilding.

Physical characteristics of Red Color:
Nature/Temper of Red color is Warm. This color has more constructive ability. This color creates impulse in blood, if red color is thrown on the back bone in anemia (lack of blood in body as compared to normal) then the number of R.B.C(Red Blood Cells) is increased. If a part of body is paralyzed then emitting Red rays on that part increases the flow of blood and the nervous system becomes normal and if the same rays are cast upon navel and upper limb then it creates stimulation in stiff veins.

Reddishness in the yellow epicenter increases stomach pain. The increase in red color in the lower center of throat is the cause of swelling tonsils and scratch in throat.

YELLOW COLOR
According to chemical analysis Yellow color is stored in Gold, Calcium, Nickel, Zinc, Copper, Platinum, Sodium, Phosphorus and Carrots, Golden Grains, Banana, Pineapple, lemon, Grapefruit & more Yellowish cover fruits.

Mental Characteristics of Yellow color:
Yellow is the color of Research. Predominant Yellow color people have keen interest in learning. Such Men/Women spend their life full of studies. Scientist, Politicians and Business People are mostly under influence of this color.

The people whose core-center of mind has more density of Yellow color then normal are Materialistic and they prefer their own benefit over others.

Any Yellow colored person is successful in worldly matters because He knows the art of making money and spending it in the right manner. Yellow color is the sunlight color, people with Yellow color are active and adopt a good lifestyle.

Yellow color stimulates the mind. If you’re ever feel anxiety then use Yellow color to write a letter. In a room where there’s no sunlight, Yellow color creates a pleasant effect on mood.

Physical characteristics of Yellow color:
Yellow color is an excellent cure for Stomach related diseases. It improves digestive strength by releasing gases from the stomach. Green color exists in Nickel, Chromium, Cobalt, Platinum, Aluminum, Chlorophyll and several vegetables & green cover fruits.

Mental characteristics of Green color:
Green is a Tranquilizing color. Predominant Green color people are full of love and the rays of love spread from them which make the environment lighter, people are madly in love with them. People with prevalent green color are farmers and gardeners.

Because the Green color is created with the combination of Yellow & Sky-Blue colors, minds of people under the influence of Green color remain very active. They listen attentively to other people’s opinions. People come to them in large numbers to tell their problems and ask for solutions. These Men/Women love kids and animals and they keep happy in their company. The teachers of nursery classes have this color in them in good quantity. Due to the blending of Sky-Blue color these people have a special relationship with water, lakes, rivers and ocean. By temperament they are very balanced and don’t get angry very often but due to being soft-hearted get shocked and hurt quickly. These people tend to wear light colored clothes. Green color people are never satisfied with their work. They like to explore new grounds and they are very determined.

If the Green color becomes excessive in the Yellow center of Stomach then not only these people become emotional but also become worried of other people’s conditions, such people get affected from every feeling of life, keep thinking about the past happenings due to which stress created on stomach.

Deficiency of Green-ness in the core-center of mind becomes the cause of one-sided behaviors and narrow heartedness is shown in achieving life’s goals.

If Green color becomes deficient then normal in throat, it creates harshness in conversation and if it’s in excess than normal, the conversation becomes so soft that people use them for their own purposes.

Physical characteristics of Green color:
Green color is highly-effective for nervous system and high blood pressure. This color in itself contains the characteristics of elixir for healing wounds. It is panacea for the patients of ulcer. Most of the Vegetables are of Green color, if they are taken in any form cooked or un-cooked the effects of Green color are inhaled into the body.

Combination of Green and Blue color creates Turquoise-Blue, this color energizes skin tissues, this color is the best cure for burnt skin from sunlight and itching. It creates tightness in shrunk and skin full of wrinkles, which becomes the cause of attraction in personality.

SKY BLUE COLOR
Sky blue color exists in Aluminum, Cobalt, Zinc, Lead & all Sky-Blue colored fruits & vegetables, For example Grapes, Potato, Dried Plum and Pear, it’s also found in fish & chicken.

Mental characteristics of Sky Blue color:
Sky-Blue Color is the symbol of One-ness of God, this is a spiritual color. The Sky-Blue color in Aura indicates that this person is a master, governs a relaxed temperament and is versed with spiritual know-how. The deeper the color, relatively the level of spirituality, honesty, insight and sacredness will be high.

The people on whom the Sky-Blue color is dominant are God-Fearing, Servants of Humanity, Thinkers of the signs of God and are lovers of Prophets and Saints of God. The bearer men/women of this color believe the Thinking-Approach of Holy-Prophets as the ideal for their lives. They preach equality, brotherhood and keep away from dissension.

Physical characteristics of Sky Blue color:
Sky blue color has more importance than other colors as compared to other colors. The temper/effect of this color is cold. This is considered to the opposite of Red color. This color is very effect in treating fast Fever, reducing Mental Stress, to balance shooting pulse and relaxing the mind. Sky-Blue color helps in controlling high-blood pressure. Sky-Blue color is helpful in making nerves relaxed and to reduce mental and physical tension.

Sky-Blue color is effective following diseases.
Normal Fever, Red Fever, Typhoid, Plague bubonic, small pox, Epilepsy, Hysteria, heart convulsion, High blood pressure, thrust, Joindis, Bile, Eye diseases, Poisonous Sting, Itch, Stomach ulcer, Dental Diseases & Sleeplessness.

BLUE COLOR
If there is a some reddishness in Sky-Blue color then it becomes Blue color.

Mental characteristics of blue color:
Predominant Blue color people have interest in the treatment of living beings. Doctors and Physicians are related to this color. Even these people don’t talk too much but people in their company acquire self awareness, as if these people are like mirrors in which people see themselves. Such people are calm, silent and soft humored and they posses such a quality that people feel relaxed in their company.

Physical characteristics of Blue color:
This color is effective for the treatment of blood cleaning, Swelling of Eyes, few of ear's diseases( noise in air, eruptions in ear) Nerve Soreness, Breathing Infections/Diseases, Soreness of Lungs & Nose, Tonsils & Cough.

VIOLET COLOR
Violet color contains equal quantities of Red & Blue colors.

Mental characteristics of violet color:
Predominant Violet color people are sensitive and express this in different ways.
Violet color is of Artists and Painters. Until and unless we have some quantity of violet color in our selves we cannot sense beauty.
If the ratio of Red color is more in Violet color the expression of it will be seen as inclination towards sex and if Blue color’s ratio of quantity is more the situation will be opposite. Sometimes these people are lost in themselves, it so happens with good artists, there are more Spiritual potential in them, if their third eye is opened then they can see the Hidden(Ghayb). In these people the passion of constructiveness is present at all times. These people think less-for-themselves and more for the humanity and are always in the worry that somehow the humanity should get benefit from their presence. They don’t want to waste even five minutes of their lives.

Physical characteristics of violet color:
Violet color stimulates Spleen & improves repulsive strength of the body. Violet color helps in maintaining Potassium and Sodium balance. Violet color controls un-necessary stimulation of all glands including the Lymphatic Glands. This color is also useful in losing weight by controlling appetite. It reduces extreme mental pressure and the condition of stress. This color is a great recipe for deep and relaxed sleep.

Useful in the treatment of Sexual Diseases, Urinary Infections, Gonorrhea, Frequent Urination, Diabetes, All Vaginal Diseases, Leucorrhoea, Swelling of Kidneys, Stone in the Bladder.

MAGENTA COLOR
If Yellow color is mixed in Violet, it becomes Magenta. A person under influence of this color have good managerial abilities.

The color we choose for our apparel and home are the result of our deep interest in those colors.

“If we get aware of this reality that colors are actually important then gradually the mysteries of colors on our own-self will be revealed on us.”

The colors we use for our apparel creates an effect on our environment. There are infinite shades in colors. We choose the color of our clothes through inner inspiration, which tells us which color will be good for us. It is possible that a color we do not like at this point of time may look good to us after an year. This change indicates that the flow of colors/light in our inner has changed. If we pay close attention that which colors are present in our environment, what color of clothes we normally wear and what is the color of food? Then this reality will be revealed upon us that ‘Our life is nothing but colors’.

JOURNEY OF CONSCIOUS
After spending a certain time in this world, we are born in a world where the second journey of our life starts. In this world we have to confront milky light. Milky light is seen with the Third Eye.

The milky light keeps its balance and the balance of others as well, this light is also absorbed in things used by the body. This is why the things used by Spiritual People are preserved as benediction. Pure and gentle waves keep spreading out of the graves and the dispersion of these waves is called ‘Grace’. The pure and chaste inner is filled with divine light which keeps enlightening the whole environment. The people who are covered with white (milky) light waves are reticent and take out time from worldly matters in order to sit in solitude and concentrate (meditate).

Meditation (Muraqabah) of colored lights

Everything that exists in this world is dominated by one or more colors. Nothing is of no color. Chemistry reveals that any element goes through changes, it emits specific colors. This order of the colors is the basic characteristic of any element. That is why in every element the order of color is different. The same rule applies to humans as well. A well-organized system of colors and waves works in humans. The balance of those colors and waves controls the overall health of the individual. Changing of color affects the mood of the individual as well.
Colors also play an important role in the fields of emotions and feelings. It is our daily observation that when someone hears bad or tragic news, he or she gets pale. Fear also changes the color while during anger, eyes and face becomes red.
When color of room is red, it creates a feeling of burden or heaviness but if the same room is colored blue then peace and serenity is felt. Greenery and colorful flowers help us get rid of mental and physical fatigue. However, when the same trees become leafless during autumn our feelings change as well.
The theory of colors and lights states that those specific amounts of colors are prevalent not only in the physical body of humans but also in any specific color increased or decreased or their ratio is changed, it leads to a change of feelings and emotions in an individual.
In the spiritual sciences, the color code is intentionally changed in student so that his or her mind could come close to the sub consciousness. Continued practice of muraqbah also helps in improving coloration in the senses. It is imperative that changes in the colors be done solely to improve or to awaken any specific skill. When supplementing colors and lights are not used to improve any specific sense, then normal senses are affected by it. A spiritual master always keeps his eyes on the progress of his student. When needed he can adjust the ratio of colors using his spiritual discretion (tasarraf) so that the consciousness remains functional with those changes in colors and light.
On the other hand, when these changes occur in an individual abnormally then the body malfunctions and usually manifests in physical or psychological disorders. These disorders are usually labeled as general diseases or ailments like hypertension, anemia, asthma, cancer arthritis, nervous and sensory or emotional disorders.
According to the spiritual sciences, only an expert spiritual master decides what color of light needs changing. In these decisions the personality type, mental strength, way of thinking, physical form and other factors are taken into consideration.
Using muraqbah, the following are the different methods of absorbing lights of any particular color in an individual.

METHOD-1: sit in a comfortable position and imagine the waves of color of light and being absorbed by the whole body.

METHOD-2: during the muraqbah imagine that from the sky the waves of color and light are falling and are being absorbed into your brain.

METHOD-3: during the muraqbah imagine the entire surrounding environment lit with the same light.

METHOD-4: imagine that you are immersed in the river of that light.
Medically and physiologically, each color of light has its own attributes. When the muraqbah of a certain color of light is performed, it cause chemical changes in the brain, which enables it to absorb as much as possible the light of that color. Since medical and psychological disorders are not the subject matter of this book we are not going to discuss this matter in detail. However, we will present muraqabas of color and light for such psychological disorders that occur because of mental confusion and paranoia.
NOTE: The decision, of what color of light muraqbah is to be given must be made by no other than a spiritual master.

BLUE LIGHTS: Blue lights are instrumental in getting rid of mental disorders, neck and back pain, vertebra malfunctions, depression, inferiority complex, and weak will power. The correct way to do the muraqbah is as follows:
Imagine that you are sitting beneath the sky and the blue light is falling from the sky into your head and after passing through your entire body is going to the earth through the feet.

CASE HISTORY:
Ms. R. Sultana from Pakistan wrote:
For the last three years, I had depression. I used to get hopelessness all the time without any obvious reason. I was aware of happiness but my life was void of it.
The muraqbah (meditation) of blue light has turned my world upside down. Within six weeks of continuing muraqbah I am feeling happy after a long time. Obviously, the blue lights have turned away the waves of sadness from me.

YELLOW LIGHT: Muraqbah of the yellow light is effective is curing digestive disorders such as gas, intestinal pain, dysentery, constipation, pyria, stomach ulcers, and similar symptoms.

CASE HISTORY:
Ms. S. Choudry from Multan Pakistan wrote:
“I had stomach ulcer for over two years, you told me to do Muraqbah of yellow-light, which I did. I was imagining that I was sitting beneath the sky and the lights of yellow color were falling into my head and were finally being stored in the stomach and the ulcer was being removed by it. For two weeks, I sensed that those lights are gradually reducing the ulcer. On the third week while doing muraqbah, a thought crossed my mind that the ulcer had been removed and now only the bright yellow lights were in my stomach. It has been a month since but I still get those feelings during muraqbah. I m no longer taking medicine for the ulcer and doing only the yellow-light muraqbah. I do not know how to thank you. You have given me a new life.”

ORANGE LIGHT: Its best recommended for chest ailments such as chronic cough, asthma, ulceration of the lungs, and tuberculosis.

CASE HISTORY:
A female patient had chronic ulceration of the lungs. The disease had reached a point where she was vomiting blood. She was told to do muraqbah of orange lights with massage of orange-light oil. Within two months the frequency of the blood vomiting dropped. After six months of the treatment, she was completely cured.

GREEN LIGHT: Muraqbah of green light is given to treat hypertension, skin disorders such as itching, eczema, discoloration of skin, gonorrhea, and syphilis.

CASE HISTORY:
N.S. wrote:
“ I had itching all over my body. For three years, I got treatment at various places. However, often the itching turned into a wound and the pain was agonizing. Nevertheless after doing muraqbah of green-light for six months I was fully cured by it.”
N.H. from Mianwali Pakistan wrote:
“I had sever high blood pressure for a while. Sometimes it gets so bad that even performing daily routines would become a challenge. My small children were affected by the condition as well. By doing muraqbah of green-light every morning and before going into bed and having a green light bulb in my bed room at night, my blood pressure came to normal within twenty day.”

RED LIGHT: The Muraqbah of red-lights is given to treat low blood pressure, depression, anemia, arthritis, low energy, cowardice, nervous break down, hopelessness, fear of death etc.

CASE HISTORY:

“ My mind always had thoughts of hopelessness. There were no obvious reasons for it. For some reason, I was always thinking negatively. With red-light Muraqbah my thinking has now changed to positive.”

VOILET LIGHT: It’s given to treat male sexual dysfunction such as impotence, loss of libido and female uterine disorders.

Just as through physical exercises and other practical ways, like good diet and so on, the physical condition of the body can be improved, in the same way through muraqbah, mental activities can be improved as well. We are aware of the fact that thoughts and mental conditions have a strong impact on us. When we are scared, we tremble. Our body feels like a weightless mass on the other hand, vulgar and immoral thoughts leave a person incapable of utilizing his abilities and strength because of a lack of concentration.
Rest is only perceived as lying down, denoting activity in which no energy is used or utilized. However, this description is far from the truth. Many people seem to have peace and tranquility though they may internally be worried and depressed. By having a continuing non-stop flow of thoughts, our energy decreases tremendously. By being overly attached to the web of thoughts, the brain gets tired which results in the waste of stored energy. We all know that mental concentration is a key to good health and that over-worrying weakens the immune system, which results in sickness. This all happens because the waste of energy weakens the immune system and various diseases then attack that person. When a nervous strength gets weaker then the brain becomes slower, memory is affected and weakens.
Due to weak will power, success in life can not be achieved. Life experiences have shown that mental stress eventually leads to diseases and physical ailments. Mental complications directly or indirectly result in heart disease, and gallbladder and kidney stones. Prolonged stress could result in a breakdown of the nervous system. Negative thinking leads to stomach ulcers, hyperacidity (acid reflux) as well as constipation.
To get mental peace most people try those methods that often suspend the consciousness temporarily such as alcohol, drugs, and tranquilizers. These drugs do nothing but create a feeling of self-negation temporarily. These sources not only damage health but also the nervous system and speed up the aging process.
In psychological disorders such as psychosis, life becomes stagnant. Every action has a negative side. The patient feels comfortable in a closed room. He ends all relations and communications with family members. He avoids any contact with other people and becomes insecure. Even in extremely hot weather, the patient tends to sleep with a blanket. Interest in consuming food also declines, and as the consequence the body becomes weak and emaciated.

Schizophrenia
In this state, in influence of the subconscious on the consciousness of the patient increases to such an extent that the patient starts seeing things that are otherwise hidden from the naked eye. Sometimes has sees shadows and other times has sees himself free of physical constraints in the form of a flying shadow. The pressure drawn from this imaginary flying leads some patients to leap from height=rise building. They may start hearing voices as well. The patient confines himself to an imaginary world in which he sees beautiful gardens and sees himself as the center of attention of all the residents of the imaginary garden. However, some times negative feelings take over and the patient starts crying at some dreadful scene. In other words, his senses fluctuate rapidly. Sometimes he becomes a very intelligent, talented, articulate person while at other times he is senseless and his speech becomes incoherent or gibberish.

Mania
When an attack of mental seizures happens to a mental patient whether it starts slowly of instantly it increases the flow of electrical impulses inside the brain, and since there is no outlet the pressure causes the cell walls to be broken and the outlet somehow opens up. Often when the electrical flow inside the cells decreases to a level of zero (neutral) then the patient suddenly becomes free of any thoughts. Although this is not an ailment, when the space is formed inside the main frame of the brain, the electrical flow concentrates on one side of the cells, to a point when these cells lose all memory. When this happens, the patient no matter how hard he tries to remember an event or thing can not do so. On the one hand, the flow increases to a point where the brain stops functioning. On the other hand, the electrical flow between cells becomes so irregular that the patient becomes irrational. Sometimes he claims prophet hood while on other occasions proclaims himself king.
When this condition persists, the patient may become unaware of the need of clothing or food. In some cases, the patient would continue walking endlessly. He even runs but his body never gets tired or fatigued. Sometimes stars endlessly into the space totally engrossed in thoughts. His worldly life becomes inconsistent. The need of rest and luxury goes away as well. His body holds so much a\ energy that he has to be chained for control. The mental patient may keep on talking incoherently. His eyes become shiny and magnetic. Blinking happens very rarely. For psychosis , schizophrenia and mania both major and minor tranquilizers are used which results in the following side effects; dry mouth, weaker eyesight, low blood pressure, weight gain, increase in blood sugar. Some patients also are diagnosed with jaundice. Body temperature rises; Parkinson’s disease, paranoia, anxiety, distress and confusion also are common. With that low appetite sometimes the patient becomes bedridden permanently. Other side effects like these could also happen which may send the patient into a deep coma. Minor tranquilizers are used to keep the mind peaceful and calm.
The other negative effects of these medicines are that the patient becomes dependent on them as well. Prolonged use may also necessitate the increase of dosage since after a while the usual dosage fails to be as effective as the original dose. Tranquilizers should never be stopped instantly as this could lead to other serious ailments such as hysteria, insomnia, nausea, body pain, and loss of concentration, to name a few. On the contrary, if the patient is treated with Muraqbah under medical supervision he gets peaceful and calm. In addition, the negative mentality is also weakened by it and the flow of thoughts becomes uniform. Through Muraqbah, the natural link between mind and spirit is enhanced and the man gets new energy from his own spirit. The mental state at that time is different from that of wakefulness of sleep. Hence, the deterioration of nervous system stops and the cell division goes back to a normal rate.
Physically there are two systems work in our body; the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic system. The first mentioned system controls the high blood pressure and the dilation of cornea. The latter system handles lowering blood pressure, lowering of heartbeat and contraction of cornea and movement of matter within the body. This system works without our will or discretion. For example we are bound to inhale and exhale. Even if we hold the breath for a few moments eventually we are forced to breathe anyway. Heartbeat is also beyond our control. That is why these days there are some medical experts and spiritual scientists working to devise a method or exercise through which we would be able to control the functioning of the Parasympathetic system to defend our selves against diseases and ailments and some diseases may even be eliminated altogether. On the basis, scientists have created a system called ‘Bio Feed Back’ on which research is underway.

Spiritual concept of Healing

When all diseases and ailments are counted their total exceeds hundreds. The nature and causes of these ailments vary. According to the “spiritual concept of healing” all diseases and ailments consist of two sides. One is physical and the other is either mental or spiritual. Extremities and other physical or chemical changes in the body cause sickness. Based on the spiritual concept of healing, all diseases have forms and figure and spiritual existence. These two sides do coexist. Because of the rise of psychological and physical ailments in our time, it is no longer difficult to grasp this idea. According to this spiritual idea, disease should be attacked not only on its physical side but also on its spiritual or mental side. When it is mentally negated, healing happens quickly. Not only healing is achieved but often complicated and incurable diseases are cured as well.

Since the spiritual side of diseases is not the subject matter of this book, we are only going to present a practical program through which healing power can be stored as much as possible in any individual. The more the storage, the more concentrated will be power of faith of the patient, resulting in faster healing. Following is the program itself:

Method of Healing:

Go to bed early at night and get up early in the morning at lease half hour before Fajar Prayer (before sun rise).

After wudu (Ablution), practice breathing exercise-1. Let your mind be free of any thought and do Dhikr (invocation) of the Divine Name – “Ya Hafeez’u” (the protector) until the start of the Fajar Prayer time.

After Fajar Prayer, do muraqba (meditation) imagining you are sitting inside the Divine Throne (Arsh e Elahii) and the lights of the Divine Name (Ya Shaafi – the Healer) are falling on you. Keep this muraqba (meditation) for at least ten to fifteen minutes.

Within a few months of doing this muraqba (Meditation) the patient is able to recover from the ailment and eventually becomes healthy.

Every one of us observes that a person suffering from skepticism and apprehensions is almost cut off from the normal life. He lives an isolated life. Power of whimsical ideas shatters his / her mind. His life comes to a stand still. Gradually he becomes a derelict and in effectual person for the society. If the whims and apprehension had no shape, from or strength then nobody would have suffered because of them. Air is a thing which cannot be seen but when the gusts of wind blow they make us realize their strength. Everyone notices that when the wind blows it is felt physically. One feels that something is passing by rubbing against him.

When it is attempted or when someone encounters such a situation in which he gets his attention trans-fixedly focused on one point then his sixth sense is activated. According to the theory of chromolucis, besides the five senses, countless senses are operative in every human being. It could be said that each of the five senses is a mixture of many senses. The estimated number of all the senses operative in material and spiritual life of man comes to about eleven thousand senses. Activation of few or any of these senses is broadly termed as “the sixth sense”.

It is stated that the actual source of the rainbow is located about 90 million miles away from our planet earth.
It means that our sight is capable of seeing even at a distance of 90 million miles.
It was stated in the ‘Light and colour therapy’ a book published by the author in March 1978.

“The smallest particle of waves of light and colors that reaches us form the sun is called photon. It is one of the characteristics of photon that it does not have any space i.e. it does not have any length, breadth or width. Therefore when they scatter in the form of waves neither they collide with one another nor they replace one another. In other words they do not occupy space unless encountered with colors of other type.” What did we understand about the spatiality of light and color?
All the elements existing in the atmosphere become spatial when any one of them encounters with photon. It is in our knowledge that our galaxial system has many suns (stars).
Somehow or the other they are radiating light. The least interstellar distance has been estimated to five light years. Wherever the lights of these suns (stars) collide and overlap, they from loops. Since these lights comprise of quantities of different types therefore their interaction results in loops like our earth and other planets. This means that wherever the lights of stars or our galaxy estimated; to be two hundred billion, collide; a loop is formed. These loops, which have been estimated to be millions of billions, are called planets.
The smallest particle that occupies space is called electron. Wherever the electrons and protons collide with each other the sight see them as light or colour. When colors are manifested in light the doctrines of physical sciences cam into being.
Those interested in physics must have studied about the theory of relativity. Generally this theory is considered a difficult theory to understand. The wider perspective of this theory makes it understand difficult. Summary of this theory is that:-

1. Time and space have no absolute significance (value) in this universe.
2. This universe is not limitless.
3. The universe has curve in it just as the earth is curved.
4. When the rays of sunlight pass near a planet they bend towards the planet due to its gravitational pull.

When a student of parapsychology surpassing the relativity of physics focuses his attention of the relativity of chromolucis he finds himself facing cosmoses comprising of millions of billions earths (worlds). The great spiritual scientist His divine grace Qalandar baba Auliya in his book; “Loh o Qalam” writes:-
“Universe has two facets. If one is called the internal self the other would be termed as personal ego. Internal self is the base line of huge celestial bodies like moon mars and sun and the smallest particle that we can find in the universe All those lights which are responsible to produce the tiniest particle and the greatest heavenly body existing in the cosmos are component parts of the internal self. If we could see these lights these will be observed in the form of imaginations are passed on to personal Ego from the internal self. Their transference depends upon the internal self. Personal ego is constrained to accept the imaginations and concepts passed over to it by the internal self.
For instance, internal self passes on only those concepts to a rose, which are to be exhibited in the form of a rose. Similarly, man receives only those thoughts (concepts) from the internal self, which are to be manifested in the form of a human being.
The internal self is the unconscious of man. And, it is the unconscious that constructs a body for itself. That which is ordinarily called ‘matter’ (substance) is the product of the machine of the unconscious. Normally it is considered that the diet taken from the outside is responsible for the making of blood and the body. This is an unfounded conjecture. Infact, man’s unconscious converts the concepts existing in the form of light into matter, which makes its existence known in the form and figure of physical body having certain shape and features. Death occurs when for any reason the unconscious (internal self) does not arrange to convert the concepts into matter.
The light is a screen drawn between the internal self and the personal ego. The concepts relayed by the internal self are carried to the personal ego through this light. Information supplied to the Personal Ego by the internal self are carried over to the Personal Ego by this light after giving them shape, colour and dimensions.
Time and space are not two separate things. The plane of information received from the light, which is hidden from our eyes, is denominated as time and that existing before our eyes is called space.
The structure of universe is not very complicated one but the human intellect due to its inability to comprehend properly considers it something complex and intricate. From the state of Boundlessness perception is distributed to all the galaxial systems of the cosmos. This perception passes through countless moments; these very moments take the form of galaxial systems. When time and space is mentioned with special reference to theory of relativity, infact these are mentioned. What is this moment? This moment is a point. And the whole cosmos is encased in this one point. The unraveling of the movement of this point is the perception. It is the perception, which liberates us from the restraints of time and space and that, also is the perception that confines us in spatio-temporal restrictions. The movement takes place in the perception of the cosmos and the Boundlessness does not move by it self. This movement is a unit having two planes. One is called time and the other is known as space. Time is the base of the cosmos and the space is the features of universe.
The doors of advancement and progress are open for the nations who bother to deliberate on the cosmic system. In the present era the science have reached that advanced stage that if the developing nations want to compete with the developed nations through learning modern sciences and participating in inventions, their chances of success are remote because by the developed nations the scientists of those nations will have advanced further ahead by centuries. The developing nations in order to liberate themselves from the spatio-temporal restraints are required to turn collectively towards the prophetic approach of thinking. All the sacred books contain sciences about cosmos. If we deliberate and ponder upon the contents of divine scriptures we can overtake and surpass the scientists of modern age in a very short time.
The most important issue faced by the physical scientists is to have control over the maximum scientists is to have control over the maximum speed by negating time. The formula to negate time and enter into the state of timelessness is very much there in the sacred books. When the last holy book is studied with contemplation it is observed that whole universe is nothing but light. The scientist of present era have successfully explored that everything existing on the earth is enveloped and encased in a shell of lights. Man too is covered with a covering of lights, which is called nasma (Aura). Scientists have succeeded in proving it by means of Kirlian photography.
If the developing nations could deliberate and contemplate on the story of Queen of Sheba as stated in the last divine book and learn the knowledge contained in the Book they will be able to use time and space according to their wishes.

Law

The universe can be sighted in two ways. One is to just look at it and the other is to see it in order to find out which formulae are operative in its composition. Sighting the universe or the manifestations displayed around us come with in the parameter of conscious activity. Observing the inner of the cosmos is beholding the Unconscious. The Unconscious of a man know pretty well that what are the form, shape, activities and intrinsic senses of every particle of the universe. This knowledge does not enter the conscious of the person because man does not know the method of perusing his unconscious. If the abilities required for studying the unconscious can be activated then it becomes easy to study the form, shape, functions and innate; qualities of every particle of the universe.
All that; as and when, in whatsoever arrangement was to come into being since Eternity to Infinity, it all came into existence when the most Exalted and supreme Being commanded “kun” (Be!). This thing has been elaborately described in the sacred books that the program concerning the cosmos along with all the related formulae and constituents with their placement in past, present and future came into existence, as was desired by the supreme being, when the ‘Be!’ (Kun) was pronounced. Anything that had or would ever come into being at any time, whether it is a million years ago or hence, would be only a manifestation of that which has come into existence after the command ‘Be’ was pronounced. There does not exist, in millions and billions of worlds, anything, which is not preexisting.
For proper comprehension of anything one is required to be impartial. If one is not exercising impartiality many expediencies are included in the process of ascribing meanings to anything. Every one enjoys two angles of thinking approach. One, in which a person thinks about anything with reference to his own self and other one is, in which one’s own self is not involved when anything is taken into consideration. Facts and realities remain obscure for the one who tries to resolve things by involving his personal likings or disliking and the one who contemplates impartially enjoys the knowledge based upon real facts.

What is Muraqba/Meditation?

"Muraqba is where we perceive our own selves. The past and future also become present before us, and with the help of these insightful rays, a happy and prosperous life prevails upon us completely." Khawaja Shamsud Din Azeemi

Muraqba differs from ordinary meditation, as practiced in some parts of the world, where the latter is a process in which the human mind concentrates on a spot materialistically, encompassing waves of light onto a central point, in order to induce its effect. For example, scientifically, a prism is used to refract light rays (consisting of 7 colors) resulting in producing extremely powerful rays, which can burn objects. Meditation is then a limited skill, which helps one to understand the material sphere.

Muraqba, as transcendental meditation, is a spiritual act, in which the focus of the act for mental concentration is the Almighty Creator (Allah/God), who is the most knowledgeable. We concentrate our thoughts to establish contact with Allah, so that we can be aware of all the knowledge present within the Universe. Belief is vital to all spiritual and universal knowledge, since every intention and every act is illuminated by the lights of belief.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him (PBUH), spent a large proportion of the early part of his life in the cave of Hira, upon a mountain. Here, he used to practice transcendental meditation (Muraqba) and his training by God was conducted through the angel Jib rail (Gabriel). It takes nearly four hours to reach the top of the mountain, to enter Hira. The Holy Quran is the book, which contains the laws of nature and prophet hood was declared at the age of 40.

Can we do Muraqba/Meditation?

Yes, we can. We need to look at the spiritual lives of the Prophets of Allah, who used to perform meditation regularly, for establishing and maintaining links with the Almighty. And, to know God, we need to concentrate on our thoughts. Thoughts reach us by means of light and we refer to them as thoughts, ideas, imaginations etc. What should be noted here is that the patterns of thinking in all creatures have one point in common. It is this common point or location which informs us of the presence of other creatures.

For Muslims, this common point is Allah. Prophets, peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all, are our teachers and leaders. We have to follow their teachings and practices to be successful. Hence, the practice of Muraqba is simply an act of following our Prophets' (PBUH) teaching. We learn from teachers at schools and colleges in order to gain success in obtaining worldly knowledge, and important concepts and skills. Similarly, we are obliged to follow our Holy Prophet (PBUH) and practice his example, as he himself did for many years in the mountain cave. Even in the Holy Quran, the importance of Muraqba has been mentioned, as in the following verse:

"And remember the name of your Lord. Cut your attachments and devote yourselves entirely to him" (chapter LXXIII, Section 13-a1-Muzammil).

Every word and sentence of the Holy Quran is a law of nature for every human being, both Muslims and non-Muslims alike. These laws operate for the whole universe. There are many planets composed of different elements, but the fundamentals of law as described in the Holy Quran apply to all of them. However, its application depends on the nature and environment of the particular location in the universe, being distinguished by different compositions. This message has been mentioned in the Holy Quran several times. "There is no change in following God’s commandments"

The Sky., Blue Colour

As stated earlier. colours are of many types and each and every one of them has its importance. Here we shall delve into the seven colours of the rainbow.

The sky blue colour, according to the spiritualists, in fact, is not a colour. it is a combination of those waves that reach the atmosphere of our earth from distant stars of our galaxy. The rays of light from every star. traveling at a speed of 300,000/km-sec. collide and mix with the lights of other stars. The human eyes cannot See the colour of these rays. The
Iights of the stars mix up to form a dark shade, which our sight perceives as the sky blue colour, Impression of this colour permeates the human skull and all the brain cells are filled with it to such an extent that these cells cannot accommodate anything else.

Although every brain cell has a typical state and function to perform. the working of each cell cannot be studied individually. Over all working of these cells results in the form of a fantasy, thought or feeling This atmosphere of fantasy, thought or feelings infuses in the brain neurons, Blood circulates in the brain capillaries at a faster speed. It wiII not be out of place to mention that, according to the spiritual masters, the blood in its actual characteristics is qui te different from what have been so far understood about it According to them, the impressions cast upon the brain, because of the atmosphere around us, take the form of a flow or current. which, in fact is nothing but the thoughts or fantasies.

When the atmosphere created by the sky blue colour mixes into the flow of blood, the loops resulting from the intermixing of lights of the stars become functional in the body. These loops are so tiny that these cannot be sighted by any material means but their effects can be studied in the form of certain functionalities which stimulate our nerves and the increase or decrease of the very same stimuli result in the form of disturbance in the nervous system.

At this stage the difference in the colours and their tones starts, The light blue colour produces a very weak fantasy, which dissolves in the brain in such a way that scores of shades of sky blue colour are produced in each and every brain cell. Every shade has its own typical characteristics. The first current of this fantasy is so weak that unless it is not multiplied twice or up to six times it cannot be perceived by the mind. If this fantasy remains focused on a point and
not shifted from its original position. man remains healthy and never experiences any nervous weakness. flow of this current is seldom noticed. If this current focuses on a point. even for a while, it produces remarkable effects, not only Upon the body but also at far away distances.

Initial impact of this current is felt by the brain through medulla oblongata and then it permeates the spinal cord to be further divided into the tentacles of neurons or our nerves. This very division of the current produces the senses. Sight is considered to be the most important of all the senses.

When reflection of an object or a scene falls upon the retina of an eye, it produces sensation in the epithelial cells of reuna causing a continuous flow of current in the optic nerves. If the flow of this current is in right direction man is quite healthy. But, if this current is not flowing in the right direction. the shade of the colours prevailing in the brain become darker so much so that weakness is produced in the brain cells and the nerves cannot withstand the pressure of the colours of the reflection falling upon the retina. If the situation is not corrected. the darkness of the shades results in altogether a different tone of a colour, for instance the sky blue colour becomes the blue colour. It must be born in mind that all the intermediary phases of this transformation, that takes place tn sequential succession, have their effects. In
the first phase of this transformation one becomes somewhat whimsical and with the increase in the darkness of the shade the apprehensiveness also increases. Under the influence of this state different nerves experience different changes causing an over all change in the colour.

Blue Colour

Basically the blue colour is of two types. light blue and dark blue. The brain cells are more sensitive to the light blue colour. It is the light blue colour that first of all affects the brain cells. The light blue colour prevailing in the brain cells is different from that of the blue colour of the celestial atmosphere. Thickness of every cell membrane varies and these are also capable of filtering the colours. The blue colour changes into another colour when a cell filters its blue
colour. In this way millions of cells partake in this process and it gives rise to an imagination, which in its last stage is manifested practically. Sometimes the colour of these cells undergoes changes to such an extent that it is perceived as red, green, yellow or orange. The lights entering from the outside do not have space in them rather it is produced under the
influence exercised by the brain cells upon those lights. When the influence of the brain cells fashions space it transforms the waves of light into a variety of colours reaching up to sixty in numbers, In actual fact, these very colours are responsible for the senses operative in our mind and body.

The sky blue colour acts in the brain cells according to their capacities. The sky blue colour, which actually is an electric current after entering the brain cells, is converted into space. The actions that take place on the retina are responsible for the sighting of various scenes because of the current flowing in the cells. This is the influence of the flowing current in the cells. The more powerful is the sight the more capable it is of distinguishing the current.

The influence of the brain cells converts the frequency of the waves of colours into the frequency of an altogether different colour and the blue is transformed into green, yellow, orange or some other colour. In a nutshell, we always remain surrounded by a sort of electrical current and when this electric current, after passing through our brain cells, comes
out a variety of colours is witnessed by us. All the senses, the sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste, the health and diseases become active because of this very electric current.

Effects of the Sun Light

The light affects all living and nonliving objects; plants, animals and man alike. Light is based upon colours. Every matter discharges waves of a particular type. When a metal is placed in the sun, its colour underaoes a change. Some metals are affected, quickly and some take time to be affected; even the colour of gold changes after some time. when placed under the sun.

Life of every living thing is enclosed in a covering of lights. Light has deep effects upon our health.

The, sunlight disperses into seven colours after striking against our conscious. Every man uses these colours. according to his taste and temperament, for creative or destructive purposes. When these lights are used for destructives designs, they produce such a poison. which impedes the construction and the life giving effects of these lights are destroyed.

Red and colours close to it produce anxiety whereas blue and similar colours have soothing effects. Every colour has many shades and tone, which result from various frequencies. Light produces chemical changes. Our feelings also change when the intensity of light changes.

Curative rate of colour therapy is more than any other therapeutic system so far discovered. tested and tried in the history of mankind. This treatment is economical for the patients. If the surgery is unavoidable, treating the patient before and after operation with colours help in success of the surgical operation. Colour Therapy gives best results in treating the heart problems, asthma, malaria and fevers, pneumonia, sore eyes and other infections and, ailments of eyes.

Firs day, the patient is made to expose both the feet. up to the knees. in the sunlight, six to seven times, for five minutes only in each session. Next day, the time is increased to ten minutes for each session, having an interval of 10 to 15 minutes in between. Third and forth day, legs up to the naval point of the patient are exposed in the sun, for six times. ten minutes per session. From the fifth day’ the whole body of the patient is made to remain in the sunlight in such a manner that the patient is exposed to the sun for an average of three to five hours (according to the intensity of the weather), equally divided into four to six sessions, according to the tolerance and general condition of the patient. If, in the first session the front is exposed to the sun then the next session is for the back thus, postures are to be alternatively changed.Head and neck is to be kept covered during these sessions.

This may give us an idea of the energy supplied by the sun that 16-to 26- mega joules energy per sq meter per day is supplied by the sun in the form of radiations of light and heat. The average of this energy for the world is estimated to be 13 mega-joules per square meter per day whereas in Pakistan this average is around 19 mega-joules per square meter per day.

Since excess of everything, no matter how beneficial it might be, is bad, therefore, the utility of the sunlight lasts till the body feels comfort and vitality.

The factor of ultra-violet rays in the sunlight is more in those places where the sun light reaches the earth directly. The ozone layer existing around the earth reflects the ultra-violet rays back and thus stops them from reaching the surface of the earth. If the ozone covering is intact the quantity of ultra-violet rays remains moderate.

If the body is exposed to ultra-violet rays excessively, it can cause cancer, Utmost care must be taken when handling the ultra-violet or infra-red rays. This care is equally necessary for x-ray’s and gamma rays. Excessive exposure to x-rays damages the bone marrow and the bones become tragile, It can result into blood cancers like leukemia etc. Excess amounts of x-rays can irreparably damage the muscles under the skin even to the extent of injuries. These injuries can be treated with violet rays.

TV. and particularly the Coloured ones are more harmful as these emit radio active radiations. TV is like a small x-rays producing unit. Coloured TV is more harmful than the Black and White as it emits more powerful rays. Therefore caution must be exercised while watching the TV. The recommended distance. which is as many feet as wide is the screen of the TV in inches, must be kept for watching TV.

Natural light vs. Artificial Light

Scientific researches have proved that in the pinkish fluorescent tube light, the male plants nurtured well but the female plants withered, In contrast to that. the day light bulbs, which emit bluish light helped the female plants to grow but damaged the male plants.

Growth of plants continues in the electric bulb light but they did not bear flower as early as they do in the natural light.

Animals kept in the tube light reacted almost in the similar manner. Animals kept in natural light had equal numbers of male and female offsprings. Those kept in the pinkish fluorescent light had male but the animals reared under the bluish light had all female children.

Life is growing in natural light since this world has come into being. Plants are preparing food for themselves and the animals using the photosynthesis process. The sunlight is helping the bodies to prepare vitamin D. The light is a mean of sight as well.

Those associated with poultry industry know that the light entering the chicks’ eyes activates the working of their pituitary gland, which helps them to increase their egg production. Not only in the chickens but also in animals and human beings this
gland plays an important role in maintaining the balance in the working of their glandular system.

Glands like thyroid, adrenaline and sex glands, responsible for the secretion of certain necessary fluids in the body, gradually slow down with aging. All these glands are affected by ultra-violet rays and the sunlight

creations of Allah, The most Exalted, is such a fertile
land In which trees or various types and genus grow. Trees that grow on the soil of the mind are denominated as different sciences and these are in such a great numbers that their counting is almost impossible. In these sciences the metaphysical and occult sciences have their
own position. The metaphysical sciences are also known as spiritual sciences or spiritualism.
A green branch of a tree can be used for beneficial aims and objectives whereas a dry and worm eaten wood can't be used as fuel.
Young lads and ladies are like green branches of trees whereas the old and seasoned people are like dry hard wood as far as learning of any science is concerned.
Psychologists and the masters of metaphysical
sciences, in the light of their observations and experiences, declaring the basic reason for this, say that for learning spiritual science a soft nature, tender heart and an unencumbered mind are basic requirements. With growth or age alter confining in the shell of his own specific ideologies one grows to be narrow-minded and
harsh hearted and declares nig Self Conceived ideologies as life. Where as spiritualism does not acknowledge this type of approach altogether.
It is a straight forward fact that no one can learn from
one's teacher unless one is not ready to accept what one's

accept what they are told to accept and old people despite submitting themselves to a spiritual teacher in the light of their particular ideologies and firm thinking approach try to adjudge the instructions of the teacher and try to analyze a knowledge whose a b c is not known to them in the light of logic and philosophy.
This approach spoils their efforts and they cannot advance. This fact remains hidden from them that where the limits of logic and philosophy ends the limits of spiritual and metaphysical sciences begins.
This thing should be kept in mind by all those who are desirous of learning metaphysical sciences that

limiting ideologies, extremist approach and considering oneself master of a field with an inflated sense of their abilities are only indicative of their faulty approach which can only hinder in having an undistracted and free mind. When some one is deprived from the blessing of having a liberal and unbiased approach, doubts and whims swallow up the natural abilities bestowed upon them after gripping the mind in their clutches.
This is the same sad situation about which Allah the most exalted has declared in the Holy Quran.
"Allah has put seals on their hearts and ears and t there is veil on their eyes and verily there is severe retribution/or them." (Surah 2 Verse 7)1X1

Before dwelling upon the exercises of telepathy, understanding of law of sight is necessary. Man, in fact, is Sight. When the sight is focused upon an object after absorbing it, brings it to the mental screen, then the mind sees it, feels it and ascribes meanings to it. It is the law of sight that when an object is taken into focus the image of that thing persists for fifteen seconds on the screen of the mind and with the act of blinking it gradually slides into memory and is replaced by some other image. If the sight is focused on an object for more than fifteen seconds the same image keeps on recurring on the screen of the mind, registering itself in the memory. For instance when something is sighted for a long interval of time without blinking the eyes, the ability to transfix the sight infuses in the mind, putting an end to the mental distractions. Gradually practice enables the exerciser to control and monitor the movement of an object according to his will. It means that the concentration of sight generates the will power and will power is that force which enables us to perform various tasks. The basic principle of telepathy is to enable one to concentratively focus one's sight on one particular point. For attaining concentration of sight, some intention is also required to be there. The more proficiency in concentration is there the stronger becomes the will-power, backing the intentions. When a telepathist intends to reflect his thoughts on the screen of some other person's mind the thought is transferred to him and he takes this thought as one of his own thoughts. And now if the recipient of this thought is a person with an undistracted mind, the thought after passing through the phases of concept and feelings becomes a manifestation. If one thought is transmitted repeatedly, .the mind of the recipient starts receiving it even if he is not consciously attentive. Concentration makes a thought manifested.
Telepathy is not the only name of the knowledge of transferring thoughts but we can fill our life with pleasant ideas after studying our life with the help of this knowledge. Life is a cobweb of urges, desires and wishes. It is basically a compounded mixture of wishes and urges. The first urge encountered after one is bom is the feeling of hunger. When the mother brings her child to her bosom he starts feeding himself as he had learned it in the womb of the mother.
Growth is another name for completion and fulfillment of wishes. Wishes are fulfilled in two ways. One is the conscious fulfillment and the other is the unconscious. The conscious and unconscious are two pages of a single leaf. Impressions of thoughts and ideas on one page are bright and clear and on the other they are dim and unclear. The page with bright and clear impressions is known as unconscious. And, the page with dim and dull impressions is called the conscious.
In spiritualism one is made to observe that in bright and clear thoughts, time and space are not there. Unclear, vague thoughts are associated with spatio-temporal ties at every step. When we analyze an urge and its eventual fulfillment we come to know that ascribing different meanings to an urge makes it appear differently in reality Hunger, for instance is an urge and its fulfillment is to eat something. One individual satiates his appetite by eating bread and meat, the other eats something else. A lion does not eat grass. A goat does not eat meat. One likes sweet foods the other is fond of salty things.
No single person can deny this fact that sorrow and happiness are directly related with thoughts. Some thoughts are very pleasing and others are very disturbing. Fear, fright, dubiety, jealousy, greed, hatred, malice, showing off, false pride and vanity are all products of our thoughts. And love, affection, faith, humility, modesty and sacrifice and feelings of grief are also
resultants of thoughts. Sometimes all of a sudden this ] thought flashes that an accident may be faced by us or by one of our children. Although no accident has actually taken place, this thought causes us to experience all the agony of an accident. We experience feeling of anxiety in detail regarding disastrous accidents, similar is the case of happiness and a happy life. When an idea after becoming an imagination focuses on such a point where the pictures of happiness and prosperity are existing, fountain of happiness (prings from within. Grief and joy are associated with imaginations and the imaginations results from the thoughts.

Law of Creation

Everything in the universe has one or the other name for it. Name of a thing displays that thing for us. It must be kept in mind that name refers to the body of an object only; actual body of an object is its Hiola (Halo graphic Existence, the astral body).

When, for instance, we pronounce the word ‘water’, a shape and form with certain features comes to our mind, which we name as water. Similarly, when name of a person, for example, Tom is uttered, the reference is made to those physical features of the person, which are before our eyes. In depth analysis of this thing is revealed that name is only a symbol to represent something. If this symbol representing the physical body is abolished, that thing ceases to exist in the manifested world. Or, in other words, noun or name of an object is used to indicate the body and not the soul or the life of that individual.

When we say ‘pen’ the spellings or the words, or the symbol or the physical form of a pen is not referred to rather a thing that writes come to our mind, that is, the properties of the pen come to our mind. Pen is the name of that thing which helps us to pen down the thoughts on a paper. Although the word ‘pen’ refers to a body of an object, but in actual effect, the property or the ability to inscribe, which is the spirit of the pen is mentioned. All the species and the individuals and members of all the species have to have a name.

For the sake of understanding let us take every individual of the universe as a moving particle having two sides. One of these two sides of the movement is bright, colorful and is known as body. The other side is colorless light, which is known, as nasma that is on the one hand is Time and on the other is the Space. Time is the soul and the Will of God. Time on the one hand is the Beatific Vision and on the other the Attributes of God.

It is one of the sayings of the holy Prophet (PBUH), “Do not condemn Time because God is Time.”
Time is that dimension of the movement in which there is no variation. And, Space is that dimension that is variable.

Nasma = Time = Soul = The Will of God

One aspect of Time is the Beatific Vision.

The other aspect of Time is the Attributes of God.

Two things are of primary importance when the universe is taken into consideration. The universe is kinetic and this movement is seen because of the features of the universe but the movement by itself remains invisible to our sight. Movements of the physical body are controlled by something else. The body is devoid of any movement at its own accord. One aspect of the movement is visible but the other one is invisible, which is the light, color, noor, nature, reality or the nasma. The visible aspect of the movement has variation in it and is known as space. The invisible aspect of the movement is invariant and is known as Time. The aspect having perpetual variation is the creation.

In defining the Creator, God has stated: -

1. “ O’ Prophet! Tell that God is one and the only, has no match.”
(When the creatures are mentioned they have to be in plurality.)
2. “God is free from every want.”
(Creatures have to be depending upon sustenance.)
3. “God has not begotten, i.e., He has no procreative source.”
(The creatures have to have parents and a procreative source.)
4. “God has fathered none” (Creatures have their offspring).
5. “God has no family” (Creatures have to have a family)

The properties of the creatures remain constantly changing. A son today is the father tomorrow. The needs and requirements also keep on changing with age and circumstances. The family norms also keep on altering. These five characteristics of the creatures are the space and are visible whereas the characteristics of the Creator are exactly opposite to those of the creature. They have a beginning; an ending, uncertainty, doubts and variation of all types are found in the creatures. Gradation and alteration in the light causes the different species and then different species have different forms and features particular for each one of them.

Time and Space have been exemplified as a passage and the passenger, in the book ‘Loh-o-qalum’.

Time is the passage and space is the wayfarer. No matter how engrossed is the passenger in himself and how preoccupied he might become in his thoughts, cannot travel if the way is not there. A passenger cannot dissociate himself from the passage at any cost and under any circumstances. A passenger is a passenger because of the passage. All the activities, all the norms and styles of life of the wayfarer remain within the confines of the passage because there is no variation in the passage whereas the passenger undergoes a change in every step that he takes.

The passage is the Unconscious and the passenger is the Conscious. We identify the Unconscious by means of the Conscious. Engrossment in the conscious activities slackens our attention from the unconscious. All the norms of life depend upon the passage, therefore, the more time is given to the passage (Unconscious), the more practical would life become.

Conscious Values and the World of Thoughts
In the physical world, we attempt to recognize the unconscious by means of the conscious though all the activities of life are related to with the unconscious. The more is one attentive towards the Conscious Life the lesser is the awareness of the unconscious. Since the life depends upon the unconscious therefore more attention in the conscious makes the life inferior in quality. Engrossment in the conscious is a proof of the active participation of the consciousness and when a person manages to enter the World of thoughts (Unconscious) by getting away from the conscious norms, the grip of the consciousness eases up. The unconscious constructs the spaces.

In the Created Realm or the Physical world the space dominate time, that is, the conscious life is spent under the control of the Conscious and the unconscious remains overpowered by the consciousness but when surpassing the space enter into the limits of Time, the Unconscious starts dominating and the conscious becomes dominated.

The origin of space is the Simple nasma but the space by itself is the Compound nasma. The Simple Nasma is fashioned in the Realm of Behest and the Compound Nasma is made in the Created Realm. Every activity of life is a combination of three movements, namely, Primary, Secondary and the Final movement.

The universe is based upon the movement of Attraction and Aversion. Everything is attracting the other and everything is repulsing the other things. Action of the Attraction and Aversion is responsible for the acts and deeds of life.

There are three circles of attraction and aversion.

1. First circle is composed of Latifa-e-Akhfa and Latifa-e-Khafi.
2. Second circle is made of Latifa-e-sirri and Latifa-e-Roohi, and,
3. Third circle consists of Latifa-e-Qalbi and Latifa-e-Nafsi.
Display of these circles is in the form of one or the other existing being whether it is of flesh and bones, of colors and of invisible lights (Noor).

The law of attraction and aversion is described in the verse of Holy Quran, “Everything comes from God and finally returns to Him.” Both the aspects of attraction and aversion have their own features, which are at times, are made of Noor, at times are of lights and at others are seen in the form of material bodies. Attraction and aversion, in the physical bodies, is the Compound Nasma. The bodies formed because of the interaction of lights are the Simple Nasma and the featuring of Noor is the Absolute Nasma. Man, animals and plants are the world of Compound Nasma. Jinn, angels of all cadres and the heavens are the world of Simple Nasma. The stations of Extolled Veil, Sublime Veil and the Grand Veil or simply hijabat are the domains of the Absolute Nasma.

These three aspects of the existents are found in every person. When the Compositional Realm is mentioned, reference is made to the Animal Soul. When the world of jinn, Erebus, Heavens or the world of angels is mentioned we refer to the Human Soul and when the Realm of Noor is mentioned we mean to indicate the Great Soul. This means that a person who gets to know the Animal Soul, becomes acquainted with the world of Compound Nasma (Spatiality), and one who happens to know the Human Soul is acquainted with the world of jinns, angels, Heavens, Paradise, Hell and the Day of Resurrection and Judgment. Similarly when a person knows about his Great Soul, he is able to behold the Exalted Angels in the Inhabited Dwelling and knows about the stations of higher degree.

The composition of the universe has three aspects, noor, light and matter. Time is the basis of all these three aspects. Time is the path that is being followed by the universe in its journey from Eternity towards the Infinity.

The person who cognizes the Animal Soul, gets to know in drowse, reminiscence, muraqba, intuition and revelation that the senses belonging to the Animal Soul are limited and confined. A person who enters the zone of the Human Soul after rising above the level of the Animal Soul, realizes that man enjoys the innate ability of liberating from the spatial restraints, he is not founded upon the space only but he is made from the lights and therefore his speed equals to the speed of light. And, when a person manages to enter the limits of the Great Soul, the mysteries and the secrets of the Holy Will of God are revealed upon him.

The blessed Khawaja “Gharib Nawaz”

Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. popularly known as Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (The Patron of the Poor) was the founder of the Chishtiyyah Order of Sufis in India. He is one of the most outstanding figures in the history of Islamic Mysticism.

The Chishtiyyah Silsila is one of the most popular and influential mystic orders in Islam. It derives its name from Chisht, a village near Herat, where the real founder of the Order, Khwaja Abu Ishaq r.a. of Syria, settled. Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. brought the Silsila to India at the close of the 11th century A.D. and established its centre in Ajmer, whence the order spread far and wide in India and became a force in the spiritual life of the Muslims.

Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. was born in 536 A.H./1141 A.D. in Sajistan (Persia) and was the direct descendent of a noble family coming down from a direct lineage of the holy Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. He was a Hassani and a Hussaini Syed [’Syed’ means one’s ancestry can be traced back to the Prophet Muhammad, p.b.u.h. himself and in this case through both Hadrat Hassan, r.a. and Hadrat Hussain, r.a., who were the sons of Hadrat Ali, r.a.]. He was brought up in Khorasan and received his early education at home from his father, Hazrat Syed Ghayasuddin, r.a. At the age of 9, he committed the Holy Qur’an to memory.

After the demise of his father, he inherited a grinding stone and a garden, which formed a source of his livelihood. From an early age he loved the company of saints, mystics and dervishes. The persistent sacks and destruction of Khorasan (including Sajistan) by the hordes of Ghuzz tribe of the barbarous Tartars proved to be a turning point of his life at the early age of 14. Fired by overwhelming human passion, he was divinely inspired to renounce the world at this early age.

Distributing all his worldly belongings to the poor, he went to Bukhara and Samarqand to join the famous Nizamia Universities there for his theological education. He brilliantly completed his academic courses in 5 years.

In order to quench his spiritual thirst, he left Iraq for Arabia and on his return from there he undertook a journey to a place called Harwan (a.k.a. Haroon). He became the Murid of Hazrat Khwaja Usman Harooni r.a., a great Sufi mystic of his time. Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. remained in the company of his Pir-o-Murshid and travelled with him carrying his Murshid’s belongings on his head. They travelled to Mecca, Medina, Iraq, Syria, Samarqand, Afghanistan, etc. meeting many great saints.

While they were in Mecca, Hazrat Khwaja Usman Harooni r.a. took Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. to the Holy Ka’bah and made Du’a [supplications] for him and a voice was heard declaring: “We have accepted Mu’inuddin as one of our beloved devotees.” In Medina Sharif, [Sharif = noble] while in the Darbar of Sayyidina Rasulullah s.a.w.s Hazrat Khwaja Usman Harooni r.a. instructed Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. to offer his homage and salutations respectfully. In doing so, a voice was heard saying, “Wa alaikumus salaam ya qutbul mashaa’ikh-e-bahr-o-bar (Peace be upon you also, O Head of the Pious of the earth and the sea).” On hearing this his Pir-o-Murshid said to him, “Now indeed you have reached perfection.”

After full 20 years hard training in Islamic mysticism under this great Pir-o-Murshid, Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin r.a. was bestowed with Khilafat in the Chishtiyyah Silsila. His Murshid, [Shaikh] after advising him, handed over his Asa Mubarak (Sacred Staff), wooden sandals and Musallah to Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin (radi Allahu anhu) saying that those Tabbarukaats have come down from Sayyidina Rasulullah s.a.w.s. in succession.

In 583 A.H. [1187 C.E.] when he was absorbed in prayer at the Holy Ka’bah, he heard a voice saying, “O Mu’inuddin! We are greatly pleased with you. You have been given salvation. Ask for anything that you may like.” He submitted respectfully, “O Allah, give salvation to the followers and disciples of Mu’inuddin.“ A reply was heard, “O Mu’inuddin, you are accepted by Us. I will give salvation to your followers and disciples and also to those who may enter your fold till the Day of Qiyamat.”

After performing the Hajj, he was once again divinely inspired from Medina Sharif to go to Ajmer (India) to preach Islam: “O Mu’inuddin, you are the helper of my religion. I entrust to you the country of Hindustan (India). Proceed to Ajmer and spread the gospel of truth.” Not knowing where Ajmer was situated, the Holy Prophet s.a.w.s came in Hazrat Khwaja Sahib’s r.a. dream and showed him where the city of Ajmer was situated.

On his way to Ajmer and passing through Afghanistan, Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti’s r.a. spiritual impact converted the notorious and cruel Yadgar Muhammad into one of Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin’s r.a. devoted Murids. Yadgar Muhammad did not previously recognize and respect the first three Caliphs of Islam; neither had he any respect for Sufis nor for any holy saints. Now, after meeting Hazrat Khwaja Sahib r.a., Yadgar Muhammad repented and distributed his wealth to the poor and needy, divorced his many wives, freed all his slaves and renounced the world. He stayed and travelled with his Murshid.

Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. proceeded to Delhi via Fort Shadman, Multan, Lahore and Samana. At Lahore, he stayed for 40 days that the Mazaar Sharif of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh (Hazrat Ali Hujwiri r.a.) In Delhi, Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin r.a. started delivering his sermons and discourses in a soft language dipped in honey attracting thousands of Hindus and Muslims. But he had set his sight on Ajmer, which had been away from the light of learning and guidance. He wanted the city of Ajmer to be the centre of learning, teaching and spiritual activities.

Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. reached Ajmer with about 40 followers in the year 587 A.H. Here he received fierce opposition from the ruler of Ajmer, Raja Pritvi Raj. He did nothing to antagonize the Hindu ruler. His mission was simply that of love and learning, purity and guidance. In a short time, the entire area was filled with the truth of unity of Allah. Men and women in thousands took the oath of allegiance on his hands.

But this large-scale conversion to Islam displeased the Hindu ruler and he started putting the Muslims to hardships. Pritvi Raj sent Ajai Pal and Sadhu Ram, who were magicians, to destroy Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. with black magic, but they failed at every turn. Both Ajai Pal and Sadhu Ram were so much impressed by Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. that they accepted Islam and became his devoted Murids.

A great Muslim army general, Shahabuddin Ghouri, who was in Khorasan, saw Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. in a dream who instructed the general, “It has been ordained by Allah that you shall be the ruler of India. Direct your attention soon and arrest Pritvi Raj and punish him.” Acting upon this instruction, Shahabuddin Ghouri came to India to face the army of Pritvi Raj. The Muslim general and the small band of Muslim army, encountering fierce opposition, eventually defeated the Hindu army and went to Ajmer to pay homage to Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. and become his Murid.

Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. was the embodiment of plain living and high thinking. His noble disposition, his marvellous self-control, his renunciation, self abnegation, selfless service, his patience, his love, fortitude and courage earned him the respect from his admirers and devotees. He passed his days in Almighty Allah’s remembrance. He was free from avarice and greed. He had no lust for power, no wish for name and fame, and no desire for wealth. He sought only the pleasure of Allah and His Rasul s.a.w.s. [Messenger]. He was deeply loved by his Pir-o-Murshid, who used to say, “Our Mu’inuddin is a beloved of Allah and I feel proud of the fact that he is my disciple. He followed the Holy Prophet s.a.w.s. very faithfully in his daily life. The fear of Allah forever dominated hismind.”Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki r.a. says that he never saw a beggar or any needy leaving his door without taking something . Hence one of his popular titles was “Gharib Nawaz” (Patron of the Poor).

Although Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. did not know the language of Hindustan because he spoke Persian, he converted about nine and a half million into the folds of Islam. Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. did not conquer India with his sword but with love. The Sama mehfils [assemblies of religious music] of his proved as a cementing force for the spread of Islam and brought the people together.

Shaikh Mu’inuddin Ibn Arabi, Hazrat Fariduddin Attar, Hazrat Shams-e-Tabriz and Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi rahmatula alaihim were all contemporaries of Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a.

On the 14th of Jamad-us Thani 627 A.H., Khwaja Sahib r.a. bestowed the Khilafat upon Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki r.a.

On Monday, 6th Rajab in 627 A.H. [April 29, 1230 C.E..], after the night prayers, Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. went into his room and did not allow anyone to enter. When the door remained closed at the time of Morning Prayer, his devotees opened the door and found that Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti r.a. passed away. On his blessed forehead was written: “He was the beloved of Allah, and he died in the Love of Allah.”

Hazrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chishti’s r.a. Mazaar Sharif [noble tomb] is in Ajmer Sharif and thousands of people assemble there every day to pay respects to the greatest saint of the Chishtiyya Silsila.

As stated earlier, basically, the knowledge is of two types: The Presented and the Acquired. The knowledge that is acquired by learning, it involves physical means and is a source of continuous renewal of fictional senses. It is attempted in the Acquired Knowledge that the conscious should not get a chance to be liberated from the suppositions upon which the foundations of the human conscious are established. When the human conscious is studied closely it is observed that it is based upon fictions. When we think about ourselves we end up nowhere in a state of helplessness. Our economic system is based upon statistics but we have no way to prove that two and two makes four, if these are four why these make four and not denominated as something else. Similarly, when a child is made to join school, he is told that this is ‘A’ and that is ‘B’. And, if the child happens to ask us that why this ‘A’ is called ‘A’ and not anything else, then we have no answer except to snub the child saying do as you are told and just repeat what is said to you, this is the way if you really want to learn.

It has been made mandatory for the child’s conscious to accept the fiction offered to him without giving it a thought and if he does not do so, he is denied education.

Other type of knowledge, opposite to the acquired knowledge, stresses that nothing should be believed unless it is observed.

God has collected all the four realms in the nucleolus of the human self, which are the Nooric Realm, The Sub-conscious, the Realm of Behest and the Created Realm.

Description of the Realm of Behest is that our universe is a collection of the celestial bodies, living and non-living things and countless invisible creatures. There exists a correlation among all the individual creatures and the ingredients and components of the universe whether that could be witnessed by the physical eyes or not but it exists all the same.

When we look at something that thing is witnessed. It is such an ordinary thing that we seldom take the trouble of considering that why something is sighted?

In spiritual science it is necessary to explore the root-cause of everything, no matter how insignificant it may appear to ordinary conscious. When we look at something we perceive its characteristics properly, or in other words, when an observer witnesses something, cognition of that object transfers to our sight. That is to say, the observer transforms himself into the seen object and then cognizes it. We cannot see a rose unless the properties and characteristics, or to say, the attributes of the rose are not transferred to us and we do not let them absorb into our inner self.

Every individual of the Created Realm has the innate ability of transmuting its inner self into any other self and, in this way, can capture anything, as many times as may deem appropriate, into its comprehension. All the attributes of the universe are collectively incorporated in the inner self of every person.

It is one of the characteristics of the Realm of Behest that when the name of something is heard, the words do not register but a representative picture of that word is witnessed. When, for instance, we hear the name of Tom, the spellings of word Tom do not come to our mind rather the personality of the individual named Tom comes to our mind. Tom, who is a combination of so many qualities and attributes pertaining to his appearance and the personality, will come to our mind, to the extent we know of him.

Another law of the Realm of behest is that the personality of Tom exists in the unconscious eternally and if a spiritual percipient desires to know about the entire personality of Tom, he has to focus his Conscious into the Unconscious to get the whole set of attributes of Tom’s personality transferred to his mind, which is only possible when one enjoys the cognition of one’s own self or the ego, because it is the movement of the ego that conceptualizes the unconscious data before the conscious mind. The august spiritual master Khwaja Bahaodin Naqshband names this very state as ‘Memory’.

It will not be out of place to mention few things about the religions of the world during the course of our discussion on the topic of the Realm of Behest. The people who happened to have knowledge about the metaphysical powers in the early ages, keeping certain beliefs in view developed a spiritual education system. World has seen many such systems so far. In the early ages when the population of the world and their needs were far less than today, these teachings could not take the form of a wide spread global movements.

In the primeval era many people used to observe unseen things pertaining to the Realm of Behest and they interpreted those things in the limited perspective of their tribal ways of life. Since the life of many segments of the society and the wide scenario of the world was not before them, their interpretations about the Realm of Behest were limited to their times only. Therefore, their followers and disciples were mislead to misconceived and vague thoughts after these mystic people were passed away. All the idolatrous and paganistic religions originated in this way.

Those who prepared the outlines of religions of those eras themselves were not familiar with the facts of Realm of Behest. And, thus, they laid the foundations of the wrong beliefs, sorcery, witchcraft and monkism during the course of passing over to others the things learnt from their leaders. They used to declare the manifestations a source of original lights. Examples of such religions are the religions originating in the Babylon, Jainism and in the Aryan Religions Hindu Vedantism influenced many of them. Buddhism, too, finally ended up in monkism because of the similar attitude of the followers of Buddha. Mongoloid religions are also devoid of the shades of monotheism because of the same factors. Almost the same factors caused the Taoism associated with witchcraft and delusions.

The Mongoloid religions like Heliolaters, the moon-worshippers and the believers of Zoroastrianism either considered the Realm of Behest based upon the principles of good (divine) and bad (evil) or they declared the manifestation having a central position in the Realm of Behest. These trends and attitudes gradually established and developed the Fetishism, Idolatry and Paganistic beliefs.

This fact cannot be ignored that the material life constitutes the half portion of the total life. If any religious system ignores half of the life, the whole set up of the values gets upset and confusion and straying in the beliefs are inevitable. Ensuing the derangement of the beliefs so many religions remained oblivious of the facts of the Realm of Behest and the Created Realm. It all resulted in a reactionary attitude of the multitudes and such religions came into being which aimed only for the state, its government and the material life. Ever-new philosophies were the eventual out come of this situation and new religions kept on emerging. Confucianism, Shintoism and other similar religions of past and present ages are significant examples of such religions. Thousands of such religions have annihilated, yet many are still surviving. None of them provides any facility for the Realm of Behest, that is, the life hereafter; rather they create such complications of perception and experience that eventually result in eternal sufferings of the soul.

All of these were founded because the prevailing religions had ignored the wants and demands of the Created Realm and it resulted in atheism and general irreligiousness. The basic reason of this disorder and disarray is the involvement of the human intellect in materialism and the other side that makes the realities to come into light remains dormant. The fact is that the materialism does not provide any facility or ease in our life. We can say this from our experience that all the new inventions and means of comfort have their side effects and every means of comfort is a perpetual source of so many discomforts and difficulties. The more we are trapped in the labyrinths of materialism, tighter and tighter become the clutches of difficulties and worries.

The focal point of the teachings of the prophets of God is that they introduced the mankind with the concept of good and evil. This very concept of good and evil determined the two aspects of our reason and intellect; one of them is responsible for all the human sufferings and the other helps in overcoming them.

One of the sciences that have been transferred to mankind through Revelation (wahi) is the Knowledge of the Self, which deals with the Realm of Behest. The most popular and established religions that originated under the influence of Revelation and practiced in Middle East are the Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Last of them is the Islam. Islam is the last religion because all the information about the Realm of Behest and the Presented Knowledge that the mankind was required to know, were revealed upon the most gifted child of the mankind and, for the very reason the prophethood has also been concluded once for all.

In the Realm of Behest a species exists in time and in the Created Realm it expresses itself in Space. A spiritual person who is versed with the Presented Knowledge and knows the laws dealing with the features of species, or in other words, he is familiar with the creative formulae, knows that a rose and he are two different entities with respect to their features and they both are different from each other because of the amount of colors in them. This depends upon the creative ability of his Self to color the features as and when he may wish to do so. In the Real of Behest, he and the rose both are parts of one single Self. The commonness of the properties causes the rose to enter into his imagination. And, after including colors of his choice and using the will power, he can bring that rose into the limits of the cosmos as solid and concrete reality, tangible to our touch, sight and smell.

Nobody enjoys monopoly over the psychic potentials of the Realm of Behest; every person enjoys them in general by the grace of God, the Most Beneficent. If a person could acquaint himself with this ability, he can bring out the rose from the Realm of Behest into this world according to his will.

Reflection of the Beatific Vision
The human body, in actual fact, is an empty shell that has two aspects. The material shell dominates one of the aspects and the features have solidness in them. A current of noor flows from the nucleus of the self towards nasma and from nasma to the physical body. Another current flows from the manifestation; the body, towards the nasma and from nasma to the nucleus of the self. The current flowing from the nucleus of the self towards the manifestation carries the stores of the Insinuated Knowledge. Whereas, the light that flows from the manifestation towards the nucleus of the self contains the worldly knowledge pertaining to the physical needs, desires, urges and demands. If the conscious is more interested in that flow of the current, which is coming from the nucleus of the Self, the nasma of such a person gets toned up in the shades of pure and delicate lights of noor. This creates an atmosphere of enlightenment in the Subtlety of Self and this causes a flow of delicate lights from the body towards the Nucleus of the Self and it gets richer and richer with the brilliances of noor. This results in such a sagacity, which is typical for the believers and about which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has stated, “Be cautious of the sagacity and prudence of a believer as he sees through the noor of God.”

When these lights of sagacity and prudence are stored in the mind of a spiritual associate, the General Realm of Behest is revealed upon him. And, when the subtleties are further toned up from the luminance of the General Realm of Behest, he acquaints with the Specified Realm of Behest.

The human conscious is like a mirror in which the lights of Insinuated Knowledge continue to reflect and if the mind of a person is like a polished and clear mirror then the scenes pertaining to the happenings to take place are sighted with closed or open eyes easily. Whereas, if the lights flowing from the Subtlety of the Self contain impurities and the flow is of a darkness rather than that of the light then the mirror of the conscious becomes darkened and blind and all the reflections of Divine Knowledge become obliterated from the sight. The reflection of the Insinuated Knowledge upon the Conscious in religious terms is known as the Conscience.

God has stated, “God has placed a seal upon their hearts and the ears and heavy veils have fallen upon their eyes.”

If the polluted lights continue to store in the Subtlety of the Self, an ulcerous boil is produced in there and this boil putrefies. With the increase of this putrefaction the man suffers from diseases, distresses and difficulties, which causes him to remain restless and anxious. A person who is not at peace and has an ulcerous boil in his Subtlety of the Self cannot befriend with God. For the prevention of having such a disease and to familiarize the Self with the flow of noor, learning the spiritual sciences is necessary.

Ladies and gentlemen, by now you have come to know that this physical body is a shell, which is controlled by the lights. We also know that man is the collection of mind and body. The root of a person, in actual effect, is the reflection of the Beatific Vision, from which a current of lights flows towards the nasma and from there it flows towards the physical body. The actual person resides in both these places and the very same flow becomes urges after becoming the thoughts, concepts and feelings.

Man ascends towards the Realm of Behest and a current of noor continues to descend and this chain of ascent and descent is the life of the universe. The knowledge of mysteries hidden in this ascent and descent is known as the insinuated knowledge, which deals with all the realms of ascent and descent.

Muraqba is such a process that can enable a person to learn the Insinuated Knowledge. If a person is desirous of looking into the mirror of his conscious, i.e., in the Unconscious and wants to know about the ascending and descending movements then the sure shot and easy to practice method is the muraqba. Muraqba helps in liberating from the spatio-temporal constraints and no one can enter into the unseen realm unless one is liberated from the clutches of Time and Space. Liberating from the space or the body needs does not means that one should dissociate oneself from the life altogether. It only means that the physical urges must be considered of secondary nature and attention must be made to remain focused upon that light, which is responsible for the creation of the urges.

The technique of performing muraqba is quite simple. Adopting a relaxed sitting posture, sit in a dark place where the temperature is moderate. Relax the body and let there be a state whence the mind is taken off from the presence of physical body. Breathe deeply. Deep breathing helps in having a control over the breath and thoughts. Close your eyes and attempt to focus your attention towards the inner self, that means, to observe all that is going through your mind in that state without involving into it.

If the deeds and thoughts of the person who is performing muraqba are chaste, that is, he must not be considering anyone bad or evil, have no grudges against anyone, is forgiving even if feels hurt and is not revengeful, strives to earn his livelihood diligently, after doing his part of the job leaves the results to God, if anyone is hurt because of his behavior, he is not reluctant for asking pardon, likes for other what he wants for himself, is not infatuated by the love of worldly riches, uses the God given resources with pleasure, the worldly gains are not his ambitions and serves the fellow human beings and the creatures of God as much as possible, then the subtleties of such a person will tone up very fast. When the Subtlety of the Self is toned up, the conscious becomes more and more resplendent and the mirror of the conscious becomes clearer and clearer.

In spiritualism, total submission on the part of the spiritual associate for the mentor is very important. If there is any hesitation in carrying out the instructions of the spiritual teacher then the performance of muraqba would not be completed. For the success and right results of muraqba the associate has to submit himself completely to his mentor.

The body is directly related to with breathing. If the breathing stops the body also perishes but for learning the knowledge about the Unseen, breathing is not to be dissociated with. Relaxation of body muscles and low rate of breathing is essential for producing the state in which one is least aware of his physical body. When the physical body becomes imperceptible and is no longer being realized as such, the body of lights that surrounds the physical body starts ascending towards the Beatific Vision. We all know that during sleep our mind is temporarily dissociated from the physical body but the physical body system remains in operation, in the same way, if we could temporarily dissociate ourselves from the physical body during wakefulness, the Unseen world comes before us even in our awakening. When the nucleus of the Self is liberated from the worldly thoughts it starts perambulating in the Realm of Behest. It not only becomes ambulant but also enjoys eating and drinking and performs all those activities, which it may deem necessary to perform in that nooric realm. Performance of activities within the limits of Realm of Behest is the liberation from time and space. When it happens, one can cover any length of time, from the very beginning to its final ending, and continuation of muraqba enables a spiritual associate to see both the ends of Time, simultaneously and he can see the incidents and events of thousands of years ago or hence. When a person manages to reach this stage and is fully versed with the ascents and descents of life, he can witness the universe as and when and where he may desire. This state, in the spiritual terminology, is called perambulation.

It is the holy proclamation of God Almighty, “O’ ye; the assembly of jinns and men, if you have the power, get out of the boundaries of the earth and haven! You cannot, but if you have the Authority.” Here the authority means to be equipped with the reflection of the Beatific Vision.

A Dot In The Heart
This world gradually, stage after stage, becomes a life of experience for us after our birth into this world. Similarly when the inner eye of a spiritual associate starts functioning, gradually, the observations of the unseen realms start coming into the experience. The more one gets involved into the observations of the unseen realm the more familiar he becomes with the creatures of the unseen worlds and their routines of life.

A child, after his birth, gradually gets the consciousness and awareness of his surroundings. Initially, he senses the aroma of his mother, and then he starts recognizing her. And, then he acquaints with the other relatives like father, brothers and sisters. Gradually, his vision broadens and he starts learning the worldly sciences. In the very similar way, a spiritual associate, who is aware of the Unseen World existing in the nucleus of his Self, or is entered into the Unseen World, or that, he has started witnessing the unseen, gradually, develops that sight, which enables him to see at any length of distance and time, he witnesses all that exists in the Unseen World, can touch them even, if he wants to do so. It becomes possible for him to journey between the stars and planets, visit the heavens to see the heavenly creatures and to have conversations with them.

The Facts and Realities that are the basis of the Creation of the universe are revealed upon him. He also observes what types of lights are being used in the formation of the universe, what is the actual source of these lights, how these are being produced and divided among the creatures of the universe and how the features of the universe are formed from the varying quantities of these lights. He also witnesses that the source of these lights is the Beatific Visions of God, the Most High.

Qalander Baba Auliya says, “ If fireworks are displayed in the moonlit night, the white lights of the fireworks that appear in the atmosphere do not encompass the moonlight but the moonlight still encompasses them. It appears that various patterns and designs made from the scintillations and fireworks are spreading all over the atmosphere filled with moonlight. Similarly, when the lights become activated in the body of lights (nasma) these are manifested just like the designs and patterns formed from the scintillations of fireworks.

Let me share this secret with you that the entrance in the Unseen World or the perambulation in the Inner Realms is not made from the outside rather one enters in the Unseen Realm after he manages to enter into his own nucleus of the Self. No one can acquaint with the spiritual norms unless he recognizes his true self or the nucleus of his self and when one manages to know his Self, understands the Nucleus of his Self and enters into it after opening the doors of his heart, the universe emerges before him as is never seen by him. He understands that he is also one of the travelers of the caravan of the manifestations in the universe.

A small dot of light that is situated in the fathomless depths of the center of the heart is the microfilm containing the true pictures of the universe. When traveler of the paths of spiritual associability is acquainted with the dot located in the center of his heart, the traces of reality are found in the depths of that dot where all the realities exist in an embodied form and figure.

Types of Divine Light

Whenever the universe comes under discussion, we talk about it remaining confined in the limits of time and space. Life is known because of form and features and physical appearance. One aspect of life comprises of form, features and appearance and the other one is based upon the speed. We do note the change in features but the time (speed) upon which the features grow remains hidden from the sight. From where man comes and where his childhood, youth and old age vanishes are Time and the features that we see in different stages of life are the Space.

There are two aspects of life. One is constant and the other, on the one hand increases, on the other decreases and yet at another annihilates. The constant aspect of life is Time and the aspect upon which it is increasing, decreasing and annihilating is the Space.

Spiritual sciences guide us to know that light is the basis of the cosmic relationship. One type of light is visible for the physical eyes and only the inner sight can witness the other type of light. Root cause of light is invariant and the light where it is displayed, as Space is variable. The invariant light, too, contains the forms, features, shapes and bodies.

Every action or the movement of life is linked with thoughts. We cannot act upon anything if information about that action or movement is not provided. Movement is initiated as soon as information is received. Actions are manifestations of the information. Every moment of life on the one hand is increasing and on the other it is annihilating, that is, every moment is coming from somewhere and is being recorded. Development of the human life depends upon this upcoming and recording of the moments.
We have to admit that before his birth man existed somewhere, from there he came to this world and from here he has to go away. This coming into the world is the descending movement and going away from this world is the ascending movement. There exists another world besides this material world, which also is composed of two aspects. One is the Erebus (Burzakh) and the other is the Purgatory (Airaaf). Man in his individual capacity descends in this world from the Preserved Scripturum and the intermediary zone between them, where the information about Time and Space are provided to man, is called Erebus or Burzakh. And, the zone in which on stays after passing away from this world is called Purgatory or Airaaf. Life in the Erebus or the Purgatory is as busy and active as it is in this world. The difference between the life here and the hereafter is that here man accepts the information, which he receives from the Preserved Scripturum, after it passes through the Erebus and, he ascribes meanings to that information, either positively or negatively, whereas, in the Hereafter the information is simply acted upon without assigning any positive or negative meanings to it.

Ascribing meanings is also of two types; one, in which there is destructiveness and the other, which is constructive. But, when some actions are taken into consideration, it is observed that the action remains the same it is only the approach of ascribing meanings to that action that makes it either constructive or destructive. A person, for instance, lights fire so that he could warm himself or cook food but another person uses it to burn down a house. Now, the same one act of lighting fire is used in two different rather opposite manners.

Origin of all that exists in this universe is the information and this very information takes life into positive or negative direction. Before taking action, information is compulsory. We can see the action but the information remains obscure from our physical sight.

The positive and negative abilities mean that, on the one hand, we are negating every moment of life and, on the other we accept them to remain in action. Water exists because we know that water is inevitable for quenching thirst. The information-supplying agency is the soul and the ascribing meaning to the information is called water.

Thirst is the soul and water is the body. Water is one aspect ad the thirst is the other, which are apparently opposite to each other but they are two integral parts of the same one thing. Thirst from water and the water from thirst cannot be separated. Water will exist as long as the thirst or the urge to take water is there. Thirst is evident upon the existence of water and vice versa.

Two aspects combining together form a being and nothing exists without having these two aspects. Sometimes the spatial distance is there between these two aspects and sometimes it is temporal distance. And one of these two distances one dominates the other. A man born on this planet lives and then finally expires. The features of the temporal distance are the life of that person and the acts and deeds performed in life are the space.

Human and Angelic properties
Nasma is such a light that can be termed as void or empty space. It means that void is also an existing being and when it is a being it has to have movement in it. The void is such a being that is moving from the Eternity towards the Infinity. This movement is covered in stages. The first stage of this movement is the Angelic Realm, which is devoid of material elements.

Time is nasma, nasma is light, light is a void and void is a being that has movement in it. The simple and singular movement of the void is the Simple Nasma. When the spatial distance is included in the void, the movement of the void and the movement of the distance combine together and form and features come into being. This dual movement is called the Compound Nasma. The same is also known as Tripartite; the three realms of animal, plants and non-living things.

Time is the origin and base and space is the features formed upon this origin or base. The physical eyes can witness space but time remains obscure from the physical sight. Time is nasma, a light and a void. Space is an existent having movement in it and the physical sight can see the display of this movement. Concentration of lights increases in nasma with the increase of its inclination towards the compound nasma (space). The concentration of lights also has two stages of ain (substantiality) and makan (spatiality). Ain is the structural formation and the makan is the manifestation. The formation remains obscure but the object can be sighted. If a things, for instance, has the cooling effect. The thing is witnessed but the coolness cannot be sighted, it can only be felt through other senses. We see the rose flower but its smell cannot be seen. When see a beautiful person, the face and figure is seen but the attraction of the beauty is not seen, it is only felt.

Everything existing in the universe has senses and every sense is bi-folded. One side of the sense is its inner dimension and the other one is the manifested. The inner side is the time and the outer side is the space. Whenever life is mentioned, both these two sides; Time and Space are referred. All the movements of the physical body, the parts and limbs, features, shape, structure and the form of body are all space and the base upon which all these things exist is Time. No action, movement and the form can exist without the base, which is hidden from the physical eyes. Technical name of time is nasma. Nasma is such a light that acts in two opposite ways, known as attraction and aversion. Human self is a combination of lights and these lights are moving under the influence of two forces of attraction and aversion. Attraction means that man is drawing towards his base. And the other movement is that man is absorbing lights to live. The movement, which draws towards that entity upon whose behest the universe has come into being, is the angelic property and the light that is taking away from the lights is the human characteristics. Both of these properties are functioning according to certain rules and laws. The more a person is engrossed in the external world, the more away he gets from the lights of attraction. The more one is closer to aversion the lesser becomes the angelic property in him because of the wastage of the lights of attraction. And, the result is that he gets so much away from the angelic realm that he is no longer mindful of the angelic property, which actually is the basis of man. Finally he is distracted from the right path and all his interests become focused in the space and he negates the angelic property altogether. God has said, “And we have put a seal on their hearts and ears and veils have drawn over their eye and they will suffer a grave penalty.”

Grave penalty means that they have deprived themselves from the angelic characteristics.

Explanation of the formula to live the life in the material world remaining in touch with the angelic world is that the lights responsible for maintaining the balance between the angelic and the human characteristics have their specific values. If the balancing values of these lights are decreased then the animal and material urges are increased many fold. It must be kept in mind that the angelic properties make a person to ascend in the Realm of Behest. Contrary to earthly characteristics it is the angelic property that pulls a person towards God Almighty and this pulling towards God is the ascent in the Realm of Behest.

But, when the earthly urges are increased in a person and he is engrossed in space then the material and worldly urges replace the angelic characteristics to such an extent that he is trapped in the world of matter only.

God had told Adam, “Reside in the Paradise along with your spouse and eat wherefrom you please but don’t go near that tree or you will be among the transgressors.” The moment the mind drifted away from the Most Sublime God, the balance of lights got upset and the earthly characteristics took over Adam and he felt the nudity and a burden of density. Because of concentration of density Adam considered himself no longer worthy of living in Paradise.

God says:

“We created man in the best of proportions and then threw him in the lowest state of all.” That is, when the correlation of attraction lost its balance, Paradise rejected Adam.

It is elaborated for those who are keen to learn the formulae of ruling the universe that Adam can enter into the angelic world by getting rid of the aversion using the forces of attraction just as he closed down the angelic realm for himself by averting from the attraction.

Persona Major

Correlation of any type establishes between two human beings only because of the mental attachment and harmony of thoughts. Aayan of the Companions were toned because of the radiant effect of the prophetic approach, which they assimilated because of their love for the holy Prophet (PBUH). The more did they love the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the more they were charged with the radiance of the Prophet (PBUH).

It has been explained in detail that toning of subtleties means getting away from one's personal approaches and leaving aside the self adopted viewpoints in order to have another approach of thinking. Normally a person spends his life according to the standards adopted due to his mental inclinations and the breeding set up. And, for entering into a new set up of thinking, one has to leave the former approach, that is, one has to negate the one's own thinking pattern and, not only that he has to negate his thinking approach but also lets an other approach dominate him. The more other person's approach dominates, the more quickly change takes effect in the one who allows to be dominated. And, gradually, two persons start having similar approach of thinking, that is, the person that dominates the ego of the other, becomes his mind as well.

An incident of Khwaja Baqi Billah is narrated to illustrate the extent and the effects of the dominance.

A baker befriended with Baqi Billah. Once Baqi Billah, in his good humor, told his friend that he might ask for anything from him. The baker, taking the liberty, said, "I always wanted to be like you, so make me like yourself."

Baqi Billah tried to avoid but the baker was determined, so he made the baker to sit opposite to him and spread his cloth over both of them and started influencing the baker. It is a historical fact that when Baqi Billah removed the cloth, after conducting his influence upon the baker, two identical persons were sitting there. The identity of Baqi Billah was infused in the baker in such a way that he was transformed into an altogether a new person. The baker could not bear the spiritual pressure of Baqi Billah's influence and lived only for few days and expired.

When personality of the mentor encompasses the spiritual associate, his thinking approach also changes according to the hold exerted by the spiritual mentor. Finally a time comes when the thinking approach of the associate becomes just like that of his mentor. In short, correlation is the name of transference of the thinking pattern of the spiritual mentor to his disciple or the associate. The mental endurance and other spiritual abilities of the associate also develop with the change in his thinking approach i.e., if the speed of the mentor's flight is sixty thousand times then, gradually, the disciple's speed also increases to become equal to that of the speed of his mentor.

Once the Holy Prophet (PBUH) asked Gabriel, "Do you see Him when the message to be delivered to me, is given to you?"

Gabriel submitted, "I just hear a voice, I can't dare to fly beyond the limits of Baitul mamoor. It is not possible for me."

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "This time fly with my rapport."

This proves that the transmission of correlation helps in increasing the abilities and endurance.

Correlations, as mentioned by Auliya, are of many types and then each one has many stages but this all means only one thing that how much one is in love with his mentor and that how much he cares for his association with him.

Knowledge keeps on accumulating gradually, in an associate because of his correlation with his mentor and finally there comes a time when the associate is overpowered by the correlation of his mentor. After this stage, the correlation of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) encompasses the associate in such a manner that he remains engrossed in thoughts of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for the most of his time. His attention remains focused in the teachings, manners and the qualities of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and when his subtleties are toned up with the correlation of the Prophet, a state of compassion is produced in him. He finds himself melting in the love of Holy Prophet (PBUH). Tears fill up his eyes whenever he happens to hear anything in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He feels like dedicating every moment of his life to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

This stage is followed by the third stage of obscure light. His thinking approach starts reflecting the approach of the prophet and he considers everything for the sake and care of God, that is, whenever he has to attend to anything, first of all his attention is directed towards God and in this way he establishes his rapport with God. It becomes his second nature to associate everything with God, recites Istegfar and reflects upon the attributes of God. He remains in the remembrance of God, ponders upon the signs of God and feels delighted that man reflects attributes of God.

For instance, everybody sees flowers and passes by either after appreciating the color and the fragrance of the flower or without paying any attention to them. But, the person whose subtleties are toned up with the unification of thoughts would associate the color, the delicacy, the beauty and the fragrance of the flower with God thinking that how perfect is the creation of God. How wonderful is this creation; the earth that produces flowers of every kind and genre, al in one place. When he sees a child, he feels a wave of delight running through him. He appreciates very beautiful thing that he sees, he sees beauty even in apparently bad looking things.

When the person whose subtleties are toned up with the color of unification and the thinking approach of Holy Prophet has transferred to him, sees a child, he looks at every part of the child as a sign of God and thinks that what a magnificent work that a complete person is hiding in this small kid, which is being displayed gradually.

Technically, this transference of the thinking approach is called 'Descent'. There are three types of descents. In these descents on one hand, the waves are vivid and on the other these descend are in latent form, that is, these descents at one side are prominent and on the other they remain obscure. The First vivid descent is called Sirr-e-akbar (the Great Secret), the second is the Rooh-e-akbar (the Great Spirit) and the third one is Shakhs-e-akbar (Persona Major), which keep on pouring into mind ceaselessly.

According to the spiritual masters the Shakhs-e-akbar; Persona Major, is the Universe.

The basis of the universe that is sighted by our physical eyes is the light. It is such a light, which has fluidity in it. This very light and its fluidity have been termed as maa (water) by the holy Quran and gases by the modern sciences. Fluidity, in spiritual terms, is the property of formation of shapes because of combination and concentration of hundreds of gases.

Let us take a glass of water. Throw this water on a wall. The water after hitting the wall would spread over the wall. If this water were observed intently, different shapes and forms would be seen in it. Just as the water makes various shapes after colliding and spreading over a wall, similarly, when the descending lights strike against the screen of the universe, they form themselves into the shapes of countless creatures and the existents of the universe.

The basic ingredient of the formed shapes, after striking of water (maa) against the screen, resembles the mercury. The bodies formed from the flow and intermingling of lights with one another are known as animals, vegetables and inanimate things.

A movie film displayed in a cinema house can be taken as an example for understanding this thing. The light waves flow from an opening towards a screen for their display in the form of different forms and shapes. The lights rays emitting from the projector do not have any distance between them nor they are infused into one another and every line is carrying one or the other feature of a picture. Just as the lights after discharging from the projector turn into pictures after striking against the screen, similarly the nasma lines after passing through the space take the form of material bodies. These nasma lines are the basic component of the material bodies but unlike the rays emitted from the projector the physical eyes cannot sight these lines, these can only be witnessed by the inner or the spiritual sight. These cannot be seen even using the material gadgets although their effects have been notices by means of laboratory equipments. Reflection of the nasma has been seen and is named as aura but seeing the nasma using material equipments is still to be made possible.

Nasma are the waves responsible for the formation of the physical features of the creatures. These are of two types, simple and compound. The waves of simple and compound nasma are permeating the space and both contain forms and features. These not only transform into forms and features but also reflect these features for others.

Senses are produced from the effects of the waves of nasma. When these waves descend in the human mind, very mild pressure is produced, which remains imperceptible for the senses. This mild pressure, known as fantasy, can be related to with any activity of past, future or the present life. When this pressure increases, senses feel a vibration, which forms an out line or a sketch of a picture upon the screen of mind. This state, according to the Sufis, is known as thought.

When these waves sink deeper in their descent, the outline becomes more vivid. This is the state of imagination. Then the imagination gives rise to the feeling and when the feelings gain depth, the latent colors in the waves of nasma become evident, or to say, feelings become colorful. At this stage, the fantasy-cum-thought-cum-imagination-cum feeling takes the form of a manifestation displaying all the features in detail.

In terms of the worldly sciences we can define nasam as the lines drawn to make a drawing. If a drawing is made in such a way that only the vertical lines are used to depict a picture or a design then this is the state of simple nasma. In another case, a graph paper having vertical and horizontal lines is used for drawing pictures. The small squares of the graph paper are used as a unit of measurement for drawing the outlines and features in a sketch. Similarly the waves of compound nasam provide a base for the material bodies. Species and their specific features are formed from these very waves or lines of nasma.

According to the laws of the Preserved Scripturum, the colors transform into manifestation after filling the perception with colors, which happens only when the depth is produced in the feelings and until then these waves cannot be given the name of a color and for this reason the physical eyes cannot see them. In fact the colorless waves or the lines of nasma are the six main movements of the universe and the individuals of the universe. These waves, lines or the colorless rays multiply and divide according to their concentration at any one point. The gravity is result of the descent and dispersal of these very waves and the rotations and revolution of the very waves produce periods of time.

The concentration of these waves, on one hand, introduces us with spatiality and, on the other, with time, which is another name of the dispersal of these waves upon the mind. The descent, dispersal, rotation or circulation and their multiplication and division are known as absorption of nasma that is, the nasma takes the form and figure of a feasible object according to its requirements and physical demands. Feasible, in terms of Sufism is such a thing, which in its last stage or after its completion, can be sighted by the physical eyes. As long as an object does not start existing in the form of solid materiality, it is known as Reality (tahaqaq) or Illustrative Form (tamasl).

The spiritual sight witnesses the initial stages and the physical eyes see the creation in its final stages. Nasma, in fact, is that hidden light which can be seen with the help of the lights of noor.

Light and Noor
The movement of the five senses is of two types, in one type the physical eyes see and in the other the spiritual sight witnesses but the object remain obscure from the physical eyes. The form and shape that is sighted by the physical eyes is known by the Sufis as Embodiment or simply Body and the form, which is seen by the spiritual sight, is called Reality or the Illustrative Form.

Important thing about the sighting, whether it is carried out by the physical organs or by the soul, in both the cases, light is the basis and the light can be seen in the light of noor. And, noor is that hidden light, which not only is sighted but also helps in seeing the other hidden lights. God has elaborated this thing in the holy Quran saying, "God is the Light of the earth and the heavens."

That which we call sense, it might be any one of the five senses, has two components or sides. One is the side that has features, is solid and can be witnessed by the physical eyes. Other one is made of lights but has all the features and the senses. In simple words, everything existing in the universe is either corporeal or incorporeal. The corporeal body is solid matter and is made of flesh and bones. The incorporeal body is just like the physical body but is made of lights. Pictures appearing on the screen of a television set could be taken as example in this regard.

The body of lights is incorporeal and the physical body of flesh and bones is corporeal. The corporeal body also has two sides. One is body of those lights, which are visible, and the other is the body of those lights, which are invisible.

The incorporeal body, too, like the corporeal body has two sides. One is the light and the other is the noor. Noor is such a hidden light that causes sighting of the incorporeal body. Every creation existing in this universe has two aspects or sides and nothing completes without having these two sides.

According to the laws of Preserved Scripturum, everything in the universe, whether it is corporeal or incorporeal, cannot be without features and a typical form, whether the physical eyes can see it or not but the sight of the soul beholds just as the physical eyes see the material objects.

The fact is that an incorporeal thing also has form and features just like the corporeal body. The incorporeal body of an object or the halo graphic existence of a body is called Hiola or the astral body. Existence of a body starts in an illustrative form or hiola and is then, manifested in the physical form. As long as the form and features are in the hiola, it is the simple nasma but when the simple nasma, or the incorporeal body exhibits itself in a physical form, it is known as the compound nasma. Compound nasma also purports to gravity and no matter how temporary and short-lived it is, it is inertia. The name of this inertia is the solid sense. The corporeal body is the Compound Nasma. The incorporeal body is the simple nasma. Whether it is simple or compound nasma both are motions. Simple nasma is the singular movement, which flows from one direction into the other. The compound nasma is the result of such a movement that flows in the opposite direction of the singular movement in such a way that it infuses in it. This dual motion is the Compound Nasma. The features and impression formed in the singular movement or the Simple nasma are jinns and the world of jinns. And, the features and impressions formed from the dual motion are man and the world of man.

As long as the motion is imperceptible it is Illustrative form and when it becomes perceptible it is called matter.

Supremacy of man

The waves or the strings of light that are flowing in the lengths and widths of the universe are weaving the fabric of creation of this universe. All the movements of life are based upon these very strings of light. Particular characteristics are represented by the particular wavelengths of these waves and every characteristic is associated with one or the other form or feature, that is, every species, every individual, every characteristic, every shape and form of this universe is associated with a particular mode of movement. The combination of these very specific movements results in the form of individuals of the universe.

One aspect of the picture, which is made of lights upon the screen representing the warp and weft, is the picture by itself and the other one is the strings of light that are making the picture.

The universe and its individuals, in their existence in the realm of souls, do not have any classification of perception or sensation. All the ingredients and components of the universe exist in a state as if they are imaginations only. They do not know, what they are, where they are, why they are and, for what purpose they are?

In order to put an end to this silence and the static position God granted hearing to the individuals with His Voice. The moment the hearing transferred to the creatures, the first stage of Dimensions came into being, or to say, the first impression of hearing was incorporated in the individuals. And, besides having hearing they also had this realization that someone is calling upon them. The second dimension; the sight, came into being when they paid attention to the heard Voice of God. With the sight the sense of identification was also produced. And, when the dimension of understating was produced, it was expressed by means of the speech. And, with having the ability to speak the faculty of accepting or rejecting something was also produced in the individuals.

When two aspects become adjacent and many other aspects support these two, then, this collective form of various aspects is known as the Existence of a Being. In spite of becoming adjacent the different aspects are can be specified individually and this very specification is the time and space. Or, to say, the demarcation between the various aspects of the existence of an object is the time and space. Time and space do not exist in the Realm of the Souls. An object exists there in the form of an Edict (ammr).

One side of the motion is always dominating upon the other. The dominant side is called Persona Major and the side that is dominated is known as the Persona Minor.

The grant of knowledge of the Names to Adam, as mentioned in the holy Quran, actually means that Adam was granted the knowledge of the properties and characteristics of all the existents of this universe. This knowledge of properties and characteristics defines that what Appellations of God, after becoming potentials, are functioning in an object. The Knowledge of the Names means that God taught the knowledge of the structural formations, characteristics, qualities and traits to Adam and only because of this knowledge man enjoys the supremacy over all the other creatures of the universe. Man's status of the Persona Major is also due to the very same knowledge that enables him to act as a vicegerent of God. Man is superior to all the individuals of the universe whether these are the angels of higher ranks or of the lower cadre, jinns, animals, vegetables or inanimate objects. If a person does not have this knowledge then, he cannot have any superiority over the other creatures.

Elohistic Appellations

A close study of holy Books and Scriptures confirms this fact that God tells the same one thing in different ways and in different styles. When the narrations of the holy Quran are taken into consideration, it is observed that the one thing has been repeated time and again, sometimes even in the same words. Apparently the repetition of contents is not very appealing but actually the purpose of reiterating something is to enable the conscious to grasp the stated thing easily. In view of the ability of the human conscious one thing is narrated in different angles so that it could be learnt and memorized. This helps in having a developed consciousness. God wants us to ponder upon the creative factors from different angles, in different styles and with the help of various examples.

When God wants us to take notice of His Lordship and Creativeness, He gives the examples of the existents scattered upon the surface of the planet earth, sometimes the Heavens, High Throne and His Seat of Authority are referred, and sometimes, we are made to delve in the example of raining from the clouds. He invites the human conscious towards His Creativeness by giving the example of winds. Mentioning about His bounties and bestowals in Surah Rehman, it is stated 31 times, "And, of which favors of your Lord, will ye deny."

This is the style of God for narrating things, and it is such a way that does not alter or cease to take effect. All the prophets of God did say that they were not saying anything new. The Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) also said the same. When the teachings of the prophets of God are deliberated upon, it is observed that all the prophets proclaimed the same one thing. But, every prophet explained it by giving different examples in a manner befitting the approach, level of understanding and the intellectual needs of his people.

In order to describe the creative process of God, Christ told, God said, Light! And there it was.' Mohammad (PBUH) states the same thing in these words, 'God is the Light of the Earth and the Heavens.'

For denouncing the greed, hoarding and materialistic approach, Quran says, ' Inform them of a severe penalty who accumulate gold and silver.' The Bible states the same thing in these words; 'Tell your fellows, if they are told that a camel could pass through the needle hole, this might be true but if someone says that a wealthy person is admitted in the Paradise, this cannot happen. Here the same one thing is described in different ways. Obviously, a person facing 'severe penalty' will not be 'admitted into Paradise'.

Likewise, when the teachings of all the Holy Books are delved into deeply, it is observed that the main thing they all are preaching is the same one thing but the ways of stating things are different.

Wonder Working

If the Elohistic Knowledge dominates the thinking approach and the human conscious functions under the prophetic knowledge then a supernatural activity is made to happen then it is known as wonder working or karamat. And, if the prophets of God initiate the supernatural activity, then it is called Miracle but if a person who is under the spell of evil spirits, has a dubious approach of thinking, initiates the same thing then it is termed as magic, sorcery or witchcraft.

God has elaborated this thing in the story of Moses. The grand court of Pharaoh is in session. On one side are the magicians of Pharaoh and on the other, Moses; the prophet of God. The magicians cast their ropes and sticks on the ground to make them snakes and serpentines but when Moses threw his staff, it turns into a large snake and swallows all the other snakes made by the court magicians.

When the magicians performed their tricks, their aim was to win the pleasure of Pharaoh, that is, the worldly ambition and the desire of getting closer to Pharaoh was their primary objective behind this performance. Contrary to them is the holy person; Moses, who demonstrates not to convince people that he is an artist nor he is desirous of receiving any reward from Pharaoh, he is only interested in delivering the message of God to the people.

This historic event clarifies the difference between spirituality and the sorcery. If a supernatural thing is demonstrated for worldly gains and contains element of aversion from God then it is sorcery, witchcraft or magic but if it is based upon the only desire of seeking the holy pleasure of God then it is the Miracle or Wonder working.

The question is that how the sorcery, which cannot be named anything other than destruction came into practice.

As you all know, Beatific Vision is the actual root-cause of the universe. The origin of the universe is the Beatific Vision, which circulates through every particle of every creation in the universe in such a manner that it even passes through the innermost confined center of the objects.

'God is the Light of the Earth and the Heavens' means that the Beatific Vision of God is circulating through all the particles of every element used in the creations of the this universe. Or to say, a perpetual movement is taking place in every particle of this universe. If this movement suffers any unpleasant incident while it is passing through the particles, it gets excited that results in unbalancing of the movement. This unbalanced movement causes alteration in the specific quantities, which disrupts the system made by God. This disruption of the system is demonstrated as one or the other destructive effect.

Blood circulates in the human body and thoughts and thinking has direct bearing upon this circulation and the human body. If the thoughts are perverted and disgusting the blood circulation is effected accordingly. The conscious activities of life and the physical system of a person is bound to be affected if he uses putrid or stale foods or lives in such thoughts for which his conscience pricks him.

If the whims and uncertainty mixes with the Beatific Vision, its powers start functioning destructively instead of working positively.

Sadhoos clog their skin pores by rubbing ashes on their bodies. Choking of skin pores pollutes the delicate lights circulating in the human body and these lights become liquefied. These very polluted lights flow from one body towards the others and their destructive effects are produced in those bodies as well.

Bathing or ablution before worshipping rites and rituals are considered mandatory almost in every religion of the world. It demands profound deliberation that worships are related with the mind and not with the body then what is the need of bathing or ablution? Bathing or ablution is necessary because they purify and give a refreshing effect which helps in having undivided concentration during worships.

Law of Attraction
The Beatific Vision descends to take the form of noor and the noor descents to become light or the manifestation and it is an ongoing process that is taking place since Eternity.

The collective program pertaining to the species is centered in the Persona Major. And, when this program is activated in the form of different species separately it is called the Persona Minor.

Every species is produced from specific quantities; it lives with those quantities and ends up its cycle on particular fixed quantities. If these specific fix quantities are associated with the Persona Major, the life of every species is linked up with the collective point; the Persona major and the individuals of the species with the Persona Minor. When the individuals of the species are studied in their species' perspective and the urges of the species' life are analyzed, it is observed that urges, feelings, needs and activities of life are common in all the species. This commonality of the urges is the proof of the fact that the entire universe is set in one single point.

Man, in actual effect, is a manifestation of the information and the information is the knowledge. To wit, the universe is the knowledge an this knowledge is spread at four levels of consciousness.

1. The Cosmic Unconscious
2. The Cosmic Conscious
3. The Cosmic Will and,
4. The Cosmic Movement.

The Cosmic Unconscious is the Beatific Vision. The Cosmic Conscious is the characteristic (attribute) of the Beatific Vision, which is the Will and the movement of the will is the manifestation. These very four conscious are the basis of the universe.

During our conversations, we say that I wrote, I ate, we went there or we came here, etc, etc. Whereas the more appropriate words to express these actions should have been something like this that my hand wrote, food was taken by my mouth, my feet covered the distance from there to here. But, this is not the way of our conversations and the prevailing manner of speech cannot be termed as the real mode of speech.

In religious terms, actually God is the creator of good and bad, virtue and evil. But still God cannot be held responsible for any act or deed committed by the human beings because, besides creating them, God has granted man the right to have will and choose the right or wrong. This thing has been elaborated in the story of Adam. God made Adam to reside in Paradise and gave him freedom from the spatio temporal restraints. Showed him the Forbidden Tree and told him not to go near to that tree. Before forbidding Adam from nearing the tree, Adam was duly empowered to decide whether he should do as told or do otherwise. Therefore, any thing done good or bad, virtuous or evil is the personal act of Adam.

This knowledge defines this fact that nothing in this universe is beyond God's reach. The entire universe is the record of the knowledge of God. Ability to know this record and peruse it is cognizing God. Cognition of God is as old as God Himself. God's Attributes are ever existing just as God is Ever Existing. One of the attributes of God is the knowledge and when the attributes become a movement as God Wills, it takes the form of holy command of God. The attribute of knowledge of God is known as the Knowledge of the Pen and the Attribute of command is called the Preserved Scripturum. Both the records hint upon one thing that the Beginning of this universe and the Last Ending of the universe are based upon the Unseen. All the commands that exist in an unseen format keep on showering in this material world according to the attribute and the will of God. These four conscious are also known as channels. These channels and their originating points are: -

1. The Channel of Black Draught (Nehr-e-tasweed) ranges up to the limits of the Realm of Divinity (Alam-e-Lahoot).
2. The Channel of Abstraction (Nehr-e-tajreed) ranges up to the Realm of Omnipotency (Alam-e-Jabroot).
3. The Channel of Evidence (Nehr-e-tashheed) range up to the Angelic Realm (Alam-e-Malakoot) and,
4. The Channel of Manifestation (Nahr-e-tazheer) rages up to the limits of the World of Matter (Alam-e-Nasoot).

Realm of Divinity is that where the knowledge of God exists in the form of incalculable unseen tinny dots that emerge and expand to such a large circles that engulf the entire universe. This Realm is also known as the Beatific Vision or the Circle of the Beatific Vision. Every expanding dot of Beatific Vision is bigger than the first one. These countless circles are the bases of all the root-causes of the universe. These very circles give rise to the species of the universe. This whole circle is known as the Unseen of the Unseen (Ghaib-ul-ghaib).

Soul is the basis of creation is and the origin of the soul is the Beatific Vision. The Channel of Black Draft, which is also known as Realm of Divinity, is the basis of the Unseen of the Unseen. The stage when the universe is constituted into features is known as the Realm of Abstraction or the Realm of Omnipotency.

When the characteristics of the species and their individuals descend from the Realm of Omnipotency, another separate consciousness comes into being, which is the Channel of Evidence or the Angelic Realm. When the features further descend and come out of the limits of the angelic realm, foundations of the tangible world of matter are being laid.

Now, few words that seems necessary about the locations of the Subtleties. The Subtlety of the Self is at the naval point, the subtlety of the Heart is where the heart is, and the subtlety of the Spirit is in the middle of the chest, Arcanum Subtlety under the right hand side of the chest, the Obscure Subtlety is in the forehead and the Latent Subtlety is situated at the crown of the head. All these subtleties resemble to the rings of light when these are witnessed in the light of the gifted Knowledge of God.

Philosophy of Ego
Abraham managed to have his access to God by means of ponderous deliberations. It has been reported in the holy books that he saw a star when the night fell over him and seeing the brightness of the star he considered it be his Lord God. But, when the star sat down, he concluded that one that sets down and disappears couldn't be my Lord. And, when he saw the moon at its full bloom, which also sat down. Then he saw the sun, which was the brightest of all the things that he had seen so far. When the sun also disappeared and sat down he eventually concluded that anything that sets down couldn't be my Lord God and he turned towards Him who is the Creator of the earth and the heavens.

Besides providing guidance about the thinking approach of the prophets, it has also been highlighted in this story of Abraham that any variant and changeable thing cannot be worthy of worship.

Experiences of life are evident upon the fact that life is ever renewing at every moment and it does not stop.

God has stated, "Glory to Him who created everything in pairs of twos." For having a proper understanding of these pairs, we have to develop our understanding about the Conscious and the Unconscious senses. When we take the conscious things into consideration we have to face a non-lord at every step of our life and for spending our life, we associate ourselves with so many things other than our Lord God. Whereas, on the other hand, we are constrained to have an association with the One who is the Provider of the life, whether we want it or not. These very unconscious senses help in negating the non-lords and provide a basis for the maintenance of life and are the chief constituents of life.

Overall half of the life is spent under the Conscious and the rest of it is spent in the Unconscious. After one's birth, most of the time is lived in the Unconscious because up to the twelfth year of one's life one does not have the understanding or comprehension of things. If the period spent in sleeping in that age is also added to that, it comes to more than the time of awakening. In the rest of man's life one third of his life is also spent in Unconscious. The Unconscious part of life negates the non-lords and man has the power to use his right of negating the non-lords. If a person could spend his life in the unconscious more than that he spends in the conscious life, the control over the unconscious life is obtained.

" O' thou wrapped in clothes! Stand to prayer by night, but not all night, half of it – or a little less or a little more; and recite the Quran in slow measured rhythmic tone. Truly the rising by night is most potent for governing the soul and most suitable for framing the words of prayer and praise." (Quran: Surah Muzzammil)

In this verse we have been invited to enter the Unconscious, remaining in our conscious senses and to become attentive towards our Lord God, who is the Lord of the East and the West and no one is worthy of worship except Him.

In one phase of our life we become inactive when we are unconscious and make use of our limbs and body parts when we are awake. In this life we remain dominated by the spatio-temporal restraints, that is, we remain in the clutches of time and space at every step. In the state of Unconscious we are liberated from the ties of time and space whether it is in the form of sleep or otherwise.

The mid-night prayer is suggested for the very reason. It is that time when the confined conscious is liberated. This is the law that has been explained in the Surah Muzzammil.

One advances in the spiritual life when the non-lords are negated consciously just as the unconscious negation constructs the physical life.

The Holy Books

In order to have a better understanding of the spiritual sciences we have to have belief in the holy books because the contents of the spiritual sciences are found only in these holy books.

This thing has been elaborated in the very opening verses of the holy Quran, "It is the book that has guidance without containing any doubt. This book guides them who are prudent and believe in the Unseen."

When these word of the holy Quran are taken into deliberated consideration it becomes amply clear that if a person has dubiety in him, this book does not provide any guidance to him. This book guides only those who are righteous and truth loving, such people have been termed as mutaqee. According to the holy Quran, mutaqees are those who believe in the unseen with certitude and unseen includes everything, all the worlds, all the realms and all the angelic creatures that cannot be sighted by means of our physical eyes.

As a matter of law, for acquainting with the world of unseen, believing the unseen world with certitude is of basic importance. And, unless a thing is not seen, having certitude is not possible. This thing is not for seeing the unseen only but also valid for daily routines of our life. This law is governing every segment of human life.

Spiritual exposition of these verses is that there is no room for any type of doubt or uncertainty in the teachings of the holy books and these books provide guidance to those who do not doubt the unseen world and the affairs of God because they can witness the unseen. In short, Quran guides them who are familiar with the unseen as the same is in their observation.

Thousands of Exegetes have offered all types of expositions of the holy books and every one of them is different from the other, whereas, there cannot be any difference in the reality. Reality means such a thing, which is invariant. We do not intend any offence against the learned exegetes; they did their best in sincerity and their reward is with God but according to the laws of the Preserve Scripturum, if the unseen cannot be observed then the true meanings and the real sense of the teachings of the holy books cannot be grasped.

Once His Divine Grace, Qalander Baba Auliya said, " Only those understand the holy Quran whom the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has taught or God has explained Quran to them. It is such a thing, which is in accordance with the laws of the Preserved Scripturum because there are many evidences to this fact that people did see the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and learnt knowledge from him after he had passed away.

God has stated, "This is the book free from any doubt and provide guidance to them who are prudent, have faith in the Unseen. (Without observing faith is not possible). And they are people who enjoy their rapport with God and they send from the sustenance provided to them from God. And, they believe in all that is sent to you and the people before you and the Last Day, that is, they know them as they have witnessed them. They are the people who are successful because their Lord has guided them. The word salaat purports to have affinity and rapport with God. Thus, 'they establish salaat', would mean that a person is attentive to God with so much concentration that his connection with his Lord is established.

Structure of the Human Mind
Everybody is mindful of the fact that life is based upon belief or certitude, which in suifism is called 'ego'. This ego or the human self is a halo of light, which is tied, at two ends, with its origin and with its species. The origin of ego is the Attributes of God. These very attributes of God are keeping all the individuals of the universe associated with one another. In my book 'Theory of Chromalucis' the attributes of God have been exemplified with a pond of water in which if a pebble is dropped, so many circles of ripples are formed because of that pebble in the pond. These circles emerge, enlarge and spread p to all the banks of the pond. These countless circles after striking the banks sink back into the water of the pond. These circles are the similitude of the universe and its individuals.

You must have noticed that the circles emerge upon the surface of the water and move away from the point of their origin and completing their journey again defuse back into the water. The universe and the individuals are moving upon the surface of the ocean of the Attributes of God and then again sink back into the Elohistic Attributes.

This very law has been stated in the verse of the Holy Quran,

"We come from God and return back to Him."

It is, everything is from God and returns back to Him, or to wit, the whole universe is a manifestation of the Attributes of God. The universe and its individuals after completion of their appointed movement merge back into the Attributes of God. We have just considered the example of the ripples in a pond. Every ripple of this pond is a species. The features of the waves on one hand represent the entire species and on the other they belong to an individual of that species. Every individual perception is bi-folded in its nature, which begins its journey from the bottom of the ocean and reaches the surface.

It is worth noticing that the waves and ripples started moving when the stone was thrown in there. This means that all the waves already exited in the water and upon casting of a stone they demonstrated themselves. Emerging of wave upon the surface of the water is the Conscious of an individual and as long as the wave is hidden in the water it is the Unconscious.

When we agreed that the waves emerging upon the surface of the pond resemble the individuals of the universe then this also is established that all the individuals have a hidden relationship with one another. This hidden relation cannot be anything else but the water of the pond, which is the very basis of every individual. When a movement takes place in the water, all the individuals emerging out on the surface experience familiarity for others and at the same time they have the realization of their individuality.

When a person looks towards the sky and sees the stars, he looks at them with a sense of familiarity and at the back of his mind this also exists that the sky and the stars are also members of this universe. Apparently there does not exist any relationship with them but a sense of closeness is unmistakable. It is the same correlation, which is enjoyed by every individual of every species existing in the waters of the pond.

When a person feels thirsty, he drinks water to quench the thirst. Similarly everything in this world, be it the earth, a plant, a bird or a beast, they all quench their thirst by taking water. Likewise all the emotions and feelings are commonly operational in the individuals of every species. So much so, the reproduction process is also common in all the species of the universe.

Fall and Rise
The universe is founded upon a base. Everything is displayed upon this base spiritually. When something descends from that base, it takes on the specific form and features, which cannot be separated from the soul. As long as a thing is associated with its soul, it exists and when the soul dissociates itself from that thing, it perishes. Just as the physical being is related to with the soul, in the same way, the soul or the entire universe is related to with the Mind of God.

A very subtle hint is found there in the command 'be!' It is, God's directive is for that, which is already there. In compliance with the God's command all the forms came into being.

This was the first descent that God directed its particular knowledge to become manifested and thus, the whole universe was made to exist. But, at this stage the members of the cosmic family were devoid of the senses like hearing, sight and speech. Then, God addressed the existents and inquiringly informed them that He is their Lord.

God said, "Am I not your Lord God?"

The entire universe acknowledged in submission and said, "Yes, indeed, Thou art our Lord."

This dialogue also indicates that first of all the faculty of hearing was transmitted to the existents. When the creatures, after hearing the voice, became attentive to it, sight was produced in them. The cosmos acknowledged the Lordship of God only after hearing and seeing Him, it is, the universe emerged out of its state of deafness and dumbness and the senses were transferred to it. Before that the universe was devoid of senses to perceive, hear, see, feel or speak. After the Command 'Be' the creatures were not separate individuals but they were created collectively. Since all the existents were created simultaneously at one time, the senses of all the existents are correlated with one another.

That is to say, the Attributes of God are like an ocean and all the pictures of the universe emerge upon the surface of this ocean and every picture, after performing the functions of its species, sinks back into the same waters of attributes. When the activities that are taking place in the billions and trillions of earths of the universe are taken into consideration it is found that every movement, every action and every sense is coming from somewhere and is going somewhere to vanish. The universe is in continuous motion. One type of its movement is called the descending movement and the other type of movement is known as the ascending movement. Both these movements are correlated because of a hidden affinity, which is also responsible for the feelings or perception of a species or of an individual.

The movement of the physical body is dependent upon the form and features of the body limbs and this movement cannot be termed a voluntary movement by any chance. One or the other movement governs every movement.

1. The movements performed by the physical body are the conscious movements and are known as the manifested or the external life.
2. That latent feeling which causes the physical body to move is known as the inner life.
3. The entire universe is associated with one single entity and the very same entity is the collective conscious of the universe.

By giving the example of a pond, it was explained that when a stone is thrown in the water, circles are formed upon the surface of the water. Initially, one circle comes into being, and countless circles that cover the whole surface to reach the bank follow. Every circle after reaching the bank submerges into the water or absorbs into the water.

Now, let us take that: -

1. The pond is the base upon which the entire universe is established.
2. The casting of stone into the water is that action which is the cause of the movement.
3. The circles formed upon the surface of water are the species and the individuals of universe.
4. Submerging of the circles into water is the returning of the existents to their origin.
5. Formation of circles upon the surface of water is the descending movement and the submerging of the circles is the ascending movement.

"Indeed everything is coming from God and is returning back to Him."

When a spiritual associate gets familiar with the knowledge of the circles forming in the pond, he comes to know that all the existents of this universe whether it is a planet, a galaxy or a species, are the subordinates of one single entity. The earth, sun, moon, stars, jinn, angel, animal, vegetables and inanimate are all hidden circles of the pond.

It is established from this discussion, comprehensively, that man is versed with the various attributes of God intrinsically and, he can manage to know these attributes as much as he struggles for them.

God says, "We created all things in pairs." The pair means two aspects that form a thing together. Thirst, for instance, is one aspect and the water is its other aspect. Thirst is the soul and the water is its body, that is, when the thirst is mentioned, two things come to our mind simultaneously, the body and the soul.

Law: -
If thirst is eliminated from the world the water will automatically vanish. The water exists because its soul exists. Existence of the soul is evident upon the body but the existence of the body does not prove the existence of the soul. It is our routine observation that a person who expires, is still there but there is no movement in his body. As long as the soul is with the body it does not perish or neither decay nor annihilates.

If an epidemic erupts, according to the laws of God, it is certain that its remedy already exists.

When we are feeling hot, inwardly the coldness supports the feeling of heat and as long as the inward feeling of coldness persists, heat is felt externally. If any one aspects of the heat or coldness is annihilated, we won't be able to mention the heat or coldness. Any feeling is a combination of two aspects. Movement cannot take place if both the aspects are not there. One aspect is the knowledge of object and the other aspect is the object. Knowledge of object means the inner self or the soul, without which the physical body cannot exist and survive. The role of soul is inevitable in manifestation of a physical body. When, because of the mentor's affection, the knowledge of the object is obtained, one can bring anything into being by exercising the influence.

AURA (NASMA)

His Divine Grace Qalander Baba Auliya has named the primary form of gases made from the light waves as nasma (aura), that is, the nasma is the name those basic waves and rays that initiate an existent. The waves of these lights in their flowing state can be taken as lines drawn upon the canvas of the universe. These lines, unlike the lines we are familiar with, are scattered in such a way that neither there is any distance between them nor these are infused into one another.

A movie film displayed in a cinema house can be taken as an example for understanding this thing. The light waves flow from an opening towards a screen for their display in the form of different forms and shapes. The lights rays emitting from the projector do not have any distance between them nor they are infused into one another and every line is carrying one or the other feature of a picture. Just as the lights after discharging from the projector turn into pictures after striking against the screen, similarly the nasma lines after passing through the space take the form of material bodies. These nasma lines are the basic component of the material bodies but unlike the rays emitted from the projector the physical eyes cannot sight these lines, these can only be witnessed by the inner or the spiritual sight. These cannot be seen even using the material gadgets although their effects have been notices by means of laboratory equipments. Reflection of the nasma has been seen and is named as aura but seeing the nasma using material equipments is still to be made possible.

Nasma are the waves responsible for the formation of the physical features of the creatures. These are of two types, simple and compound. The waves of simple and compound nasma are permeating the space and both contain forms and features. These not only transform into forms and features but also reflect these features for others.

Senses are produced from the effects of the waves of nasma. When these waves descend in the human mind, very mild pressure is produced, which remains imperceptible for the senses. This mild pressure, known as fantasy, can be related to with any activity of past, future or the present life. When this pressure increases, senses feel a vibration, which forms an out line or a sketch of a picture upon the screen of mind. This state, according to the Sufis, is known as thought.

When these waves sink deeper in their descent, the outline becomes more vivid. This is the state of imagination. Then the imagination gives rise to the feeling and when the feelings gain depth, the latent colors in the waves of nasma become evident, or to say, feelings become colorful. At this stage, the fantasy-cum-thought-cum-imagination-cum feeling takes the form of a manifestation displaying all the features in detail.

In terms of the worldly sciences we can define nasam as the lines drawn to make a drawing. If a drawing is made in such a way that only the vertical lines are used to depict a picture or a design then this is the state of simple nasma. In another case, a graph paper having vertical and horizontal lines is used for drawing pictures. The small squares of the graph paper are used as a unit of measurement for drawing the outlines and features in a sketch. Similarly the waves of compound nasam provide a base for the material bodies. Species and their specific features are formed from these very waves or lines of nasma.

According to the laws of the Preserved Scripturum, the colors transform into manifestation after filling the perception with colors, which happens only when the depth is produced in the feelings and until then these waves cannot be given the name of a color and for this reason the physical eyes cannot see them. In fact the colorless waves or the lines of nasma are the six main movements of the universe and the individuals of the universe. These waves, lines or the colorless rays multiply and divide according to their concentration at any one point. The gravity is result of the descent and dispersal of these very waves and the rotations and revolution of the very waves produce periods of time.

The concentration of these waves, on one hand, introduces us with spatiality and, on the other, with time, which is another name of the dispersal of these waves upon the mind. The descent, dispersal, rotation or circulation and their multiplication and division are known as absorption of nasma that is, the nasma takes the form and figure of a feasible object according to its requirements and physical demands. Feasible, in terms of Sufism is such a thing, which in its last stage or after its completion, can be sighted by the physical eyes. As long as an object does not start existing in the form of solid materiality, it is known as Reality (tahaqaq) or Illustrative Form (tamasl).

The spiritual sight witnesses the initial stages and the physical eyes see the creation in its final stages. Nasma, in fact, is that hidden light which can be seen with the help of the lights of noor.

Time and Space

Students of Qalander Shaoor Academy must have developed this understanding by now that Nisbat; the Correlation, means transference of the thinking approach. The more a correlation is deeply rooted in the mind of the spiritual associate, the more knowledge transfers to him because of his rapport with his mentor. It is one of the characteristics of the adaptation of the mentor’s thinking pattern by the spiritual associate that the stocks of knowledge stored in the mind of the mentor, descend into the sabita, aayan and jowiya of the associate in the form of waves.

The basis of the universe that is sighted by our physical eyes is the light. It is such a light, which has fluidity in it. This very light and its fluidity have been termed as maa (water) by the holy Quran and gases by the modern sciences. Fluidity, in spiritual terms, is the property of formation of shapes because of combination and concentration of hundreds of gases.

Let us take a glass of water. Throw this water on a wall. The water after hitting the wall would spread over the wall. If this water were observed intently, different shapes and forms would be seen in it. Just as the water makes various shapes after colliding and spreading over a wall, similarly, when the descending lights strike against the screen of the universe, they form themselves into the shapes of countless creatures and the existents of the universe.

The basic ingredient of the formed shapes, after striking of water (maa) against the screen, resembles the mercury. The bodies formed from the flow and intermingling of lights with one another are known as animals, vegetables and inanimate things.

Just as the lights after discharging from the projector turn into pictures after striking against the screen, similarly the nasma lines after passing through the space take the form of material bodies. These nasma lines are the basic component of the material bodies but unlike the rays emitted from the projector the physical eyes cannot sight these lines, these can only be witnessed by the inner or the spiritual sight. These cannot be seen even using the material gadgets although their effects have been notices by means of laboratory equipments. Reflection of the nasma has been seen and is named as aura but seeing the nasma using material equipments is still to be made possible.

Nasma are the waves responsible for the formation of the physical features of the creatures. These are of two types, simple and compound. The waves of simple and compound nasma are permeating the space and both contain forms and features. These not only transform into forms and features but also reflect these features for others.

Senses are produced from the effects of the waves of nasma. When these waves descend in the human mind, very mild pressure is produced, which remains imperceptible for the senses. This mild pressure, known as fantasy, can be related to with any activity of past, future or the present life. When this pressure increases, senses feel a vibration, which forms an out line or a sketch of a picture upon the screen of mind. This state, according to the Sufis, is known as thought.

When these waves sink deeper in their descent, the outline becomes more vivid. This is the state of imagination. Then the imagination gives rise to the feeling and when the feelings gain depth, the latent colors in the waves of nasma become evident, or to say, feelings become colorful. At this stage, the fantasy-cum-thought-cum-imagination-cum feeling takes the form of a manifestation displaying all the features in detail.

In terms of the worldly sciences we can define nasam as the lines drawn to make a drawing. If a drawing is made in such a way that only the vertical lines are used to depict a picture or a design then this is the state of simple nasma. In another case, a graph paper having vertical and horizontal lines is used for drawing pictures. The small squares of the graph paper are used as a unit of measurement for drawing the outlines and features in a sketch. Similarly the waves of compound nasam provide a base for the material bodies. Species and their specific features are formed from these very waves or lines of nasma.

According to the laws of the Preserved Scripturum, the colors transform into manifestation after filling the perception with colors, which happens only when the depth is produced in the feelings and until then these waves cannot be given the name of a color and for this reason the physical eyes cannot see them. In fact the colorless waves or the lines of nasma are the six main movements of the universe and the individuals of the universe. These waves, lines or the colorless rays multiply and divide according to their concentration at any one point. The gravity is result of the descent and dispersal of these very waves and the rotations and revolution of the very waves produce periods of time.

The concentration of these waves, on one hand, introduces us with spatiality and, on the other, with time, which is another name of the dispersal of these waves upon the mind. The descent, dispersal, rotation or circulation and their multiplication and division are known as absorption of nasma that is, the nasma takes the form and figure of a feasible object according to its requirements and physical demands. Feasible, in terms of Sufism is such a thing, which in its last stage or after its completion, can be sighted by the physical eyes. As long as an object does not start existing in the form of solid materiality, it is known as Reality (tahaqaq) or Illustrative Form (tamasl).

The spiritual sight witnesses the initial stages and the physical eyes see the creation in its final stages. Nasma, in fact, is that hidden light which can be seen with the help of the lights of noor.

One thing which is frequently mentioned in Spiritualism is the Conducting 1nfluence, that is, the teacher; Shaikh, preceptor or the, 'Guru' inducts certain spiritual changes by focusing his attention in his pupil, disciple or the spiritual son. Today a scientist can also do the same. He can also influence the desired people telepathically and can force them to do a particular job, which he intends them to do. A term commonly used in Spiritualism is ‘To See in the Inner’ that is, to observe the outer space of this planet through the Inner Eye. This also has been done by the scientists successfully and they have their claim of walking in space to their credit.

Man possesses certain abilities which if activated enables him to disclose those informations which are not found in the books. Science has established its advancement in this regard as well and knowledges which were initially hard to believe and beyond the comprehension of the human intellect have been discovered and as a result those things have come into existence which has forced man to believe them. In such circumstances the terms of Spiritualism, like Attention, Influence, Opening of the Inner Eye, emancipation from Time and Space have become a perplexing puzzle. Till date it is believed that the paranormal abilities of foresightedness and clairvoyance etc. can only be activated through the recitation of certain verses and repetition of certain words. It has become very important to understand, in the present era of science, that if the people who do not have faith in any religion, can Conduct the Influence, can activate their Inner Eye to function, can lay the foundations of ever new sciences, can walk in Space, then what is this Spiritualism?

Religion is bound to come under discussion when we talk of Spiritualism. The principle on which the religions have been founded is that performance of the religions duties should enable man to bring a change in his own life or to enable him to Conduct Influence in the lives of other, the things hidden within the earth or in the outer sphere of the earth may appear before his Inner Eye. But when we study the lives of the followers of the religions we hardly find a single person, in the multitude of millions and billions of religious people who can exercise the power of Conductive Influence and his Inner Sight is operative. It is quite astonishing that the religious people are ignorant of the knowledges, which have been discovered by the people who have no faith in religions. Naturally, in such circumstances every serious minded person would be constrained to think, (What is this religion?)

Law
There are countless species in the universe. Each and every species and every individual of every species in their individual capacity is in constant and continuous contact with one another through the waves of thought, and the Same link is the cause of introduction and intimacy between them. These waves of thoughts, in fact, arc the individual and collective informations which are responsible for bringing the individuals of the universe close to life every moment and every second. In fact our whole life is associated with the thoughts and the effectiveness of the thoughts depends upon the certitude and dubiety, belief and disbelief. This is the main point upon which the edifice of religion is founded.
Man passes through the various stages of life in small intervals of time and utilizes the fractions of time to live his life by combining and connecting these fractions' together in his mind. We either advance from one fraction of time towards the next consecutive fraction or revert back to the previous one. In order to understand this, man thinks of taking food but due to an upset stomach the intention is relinquished, how long will he abstain from it? He has no idea in this regard. Likewise thoughts are the ingredients of his life which either makes him successful or unsuccessful. An intention is formed, then is relinquished or is postponed whether with in minutes of its formation or in hours, in months or in years, anyhow it is ultimately abandoned. This abandonment or the relinquishment is the chief constituent of man's life.

There are many things like hardships, difficulties, worries, diseases, anxiety, depression etc. etc. and to equalize all these there is one thing called ‘peace’', in which man seeks all types of eases and comforts. Most of them are not real but hypothetical and for man they appear to be the easy ones. This creates the trend of inclination towards the easygoing. Actually, formation of the human brain is such that it makes him go for facilities and to avoid the difficulties. These are evidently, two directions and man spends his life between these two directions through his thoughts. Every activity is motivated in one of these two directions. When we decide a plan, we were organizing it. It was perfect and complete in all its aspects and its direction was also correct but it happens that after taking only a few steps, a change takes place in our mind, with the change the direction of our thoughts also undergoes a change resulting in a net change in the direction of our activity. And the target towards which we were heading goes into oblivion. What is left with us? Groping and taking steps grippingly, This is why only one out of millions of people takes a step which is in the right direction and is not withdrawn. It may please be kept in mind that all this is about the in-between states of doubts and beliefs. So far as the majority is concerned, the main force that controls' their minds is that whim and doubt, which is ceaselessly effecting the cells of their minds. The more the intensity of doubts, the more will be the deterioration of the brain cells. It will not be out of place to mention that all the nerves of the body work under the brain cells and the activities of the nerves are the life.

Believing something is equally difficult for man as coming out of the illusions, dubiety and disbelief, For example, man presents himself contrary to what he actually is. He always hides his weaknesses and boosts about those hypothetical virtues which actually are not possessed by him.

Society and our Belief
The society in which a person is educated and reared up becomes his belief and his mind fails to analyze this belief and thus the belief become his faith although it is not more than a deceptive illusion. The main cause for this, as already stated, is that he poses himself contrary to what be actually is. This type of life causes him to face many difficulties, the difficulties which he cannot resolve. It causes, at every step, fear in him that his action would prove to be futile and would yield no result. Sometimes this doubt becomes so intense that he begins to believe that his life is facing destruction and if not destroying it is in great danger. All this happens because of the rapid deterioration of brain cells, the eventual out come of dubiety.

When life is lived contrary to that which actually it or is posed differently than what one is in fact then actions and deeds based upon this sort of life do not yield positive results. When he wants to achieve the desired results from such deeds, accelerated alterations and deterioration of brain cells changes the tracks of his practical life and either it does not yield any result or proves to be harmful or produces such a doubt which hinders and obstructs him from taking any step at all. The mental structure or the construction of the mind in fact, is in man's own control. Here 'structure' means that the rate of deterioration of the brain cells is accelerated, balanced and moderate or the minimum. It is sheer luck if some one is saved from doubt, which is because of the minimum and the least deterioration of the brain cells. The scarcity of doubt and dearth of uncertainty in the mind is directly proportional to the successes of life whereas the intensity of doubts and uncertainty has its direct proportionality with the failures of life.

Deterioration of the Brain Cells
It is unfortunate on man’s part that he evaluates the Knowledges granted to him by God, on the basis of self-made and false principles and refuses to acknowledge them as such. Light has been declared by God as the basis of each and every Knowledge. Man was required to explore the maximum types and kinds of lights and their functions but he never paid proper attention to this and this thing always remained in obscurity. Man didn't try to lift this veil because either such a veil never existed for him or he never paid any attention to it. He never attempted to explore rules and principles governing the composition of lights. If this approach had been adopted by him the deterioration of the brain cells would not have been the minimum and he would have advanced towards the belief and the doubts would not have bothered him as much as they are troubling him now. The hindrances and obstructions in his practical activities would have also been minimum but it didn't happen so, he didn't explore the types of lights nor did he try to discover the nature of the lights.

He even doesn't know that lights also have their specific structural formations, natures and they even have the trends and tendencies of particular characteristics. He also doesn't know that the very lights are his life and they protect him as well. He is only familiar with the effigy of the clay and dust which doesn't posses any life of its own. The effigy made from the rotten clay by God has no reality of its own. The reality is that which has been breathed in him by God in the form of the Soul. Ignorance from the actions of the lights causes aversion from the saying of God in this regard. The more the aversion the more increased will be the doubts and whims and faith and belief would also be shattered accordingly. The spiritualists define faith as a belief in which there is no doubt. Actual cause of weakness in determination or that of faith is this doubt As long as reluctance and hesitation in thoughts is there firmness of the faith is not possible. A thought after acquiring the lights of faith and firm belief becomes a manifestation or the phenomenon.

The Religion
Religion causes us to enter into that pattern of faith and belief where no doubt or whim exists and man observes the Unseen World and the angels actively participating in the affairs of the Unseen World through his Inner Eye. Observations of the Unseen World establishes such a relationship of man with his Lord which enables him to see that the Attributes of the Creator are encompassing him. If the Inner Sight of a person is not functional, then according to Spiritualism, he has yet to enter the circle of faith. When someone enters into the circle of faith the evilness and the destructiveness take their leave from his thoughts and faith; if the Unseen World is not revealed upon a person he will always remain suppressed by evilness and destructiveness. This is the reason that despite all the comforts and facilities at his disposal, the endless new inventions and discoveries, everybody is suffering from anxiety, worries, restlessness and feelings of insecurity. Since science believes in matter and the matter is only fiction and unstable therefore all the means and resources of comforts and luxuries, every invention and all the progress and advancement of science is also temporary and perishable. How can something based upon deterioration and perishability provide real pleasure. The basic and fundamental difference between Religion and Infidelity is that the latter causes whims, doubts and uncertainty whereas religion associates all the feelings, thoughts, concepts, deeds and activities of life with the only One, Endogenous and Permanent Being.(Top)

The Scientific Doctrine
The material doctrine, preached and advocated by the scientists is that nothing could be acknowledged unless it has not been practically demonstrated. They, despite all the knowledge, which is possessed by them, forget that by limiting themselves in a material shell they are negating their own theory. It is also said by them that anything which is unseen by the sight has no reality whereas the basis of all their progress and advancement are the invisible waves of light

The founder of the Qalander Conscious, proclaimer of the Reality, Hassan Ukhra Mohammed Azeem Burkhiya, Qalander Baba Auliya states.

"In all the sciences concerning the spiritual values considered so far, the universe which is a significant manifestation is of secondary importance. First the Hidden and the Unseen are considered and their understanding is attempted with a preference. If the Hidden and the Unseen are easily understood then gradually it becomes clear as to how these manifestations and phenomena come into being and what rules and laws are responsible to create and regulate them. Ali these things are ostensibly felt just like the many experiences which prior to maturity have a certain correlation and harmony in them. All those things which are related to the Unseen have been mentioned under various names in the Holy Quran by God and the prophets by mentioning those names, elucidated their characteristics, virtues and merits for the people. The Books and Scriptures before the Holy Quran also throw light on those things but only casual references are found there, more elaborate details in this regard are found in the Holy Quran only. When the details given by the Holy Quran are considered and deliberated upon, it would be concluded that the Unseen is more important than the manifestations and the phenomena. Comprehension and understanding of the Unseen is very important. That which is called religion is also based upon the Unseen. The manifestations are mentioned in the religions but they are always given secondary importance. No matter how much preference is ascribed to them by the material world it never had a primary significance in any era of any religion. Now the material world has also gradually begun to think in the same terms. For instance, the scientists of the present age have been forced to prefer the Unseen. First they suppose something and then they Strive to draw the conclusions and results. When they are concluding something they consider all their suppositions as real, indispensable and certain. For instance, the characteristics and behavior of the electron is under heated debates in this century, All the scientists unanimously agree that it behaves like a particle and as a wave simultaneously. It is interesting to note that a thing which is only hypothetical is behaving in two ways at the same time and its behavior is acknowledged as sure and certain. It is also said, besides this, that electron has not been seen till date nor there is any such hope even in the future. But despite all this the electron is acknowledged as one of the most concrete reality which has ever been perceived by the human mind, or would ever come to man's knowledge. It is only a supposition in their minds which has been followed and the result of their pursuit is such a conclusion which is of great significance for inventions and discoveries and is considered an important stage of success.

They are striving hard to introduce this important stage to the people, Many times it happens that things once believed to be factual and real are rejected and replaced by new facts, discoveries and formulae. And these new substituted facts and formulae are considered worthy of the same importance which was once reserved for the rejected ones. Obviously the unseen world is also of primary importance for them even though they call themselves materialists and the ardent fans of matter. They are not ready to acknowledge even for a moment, that there is anything like God or the Unseen World or it has any meanings or significance or it is inadequate to ignore it. They remain surrounded by the concepts which can only be termed as the materialistic once. When anything like Unseen is mentioned, their demand is always the same, that is, they cannot be conducted to any thing like the Unseen unless it is not Supplemented by a demonstration nor they are ready to believe in the Unseen or that it could be of any use or they have got any intention of granting any place to the theory of the Unseen in the world of science. No matter whatsoever they say it is only a style of their speech and an approach of their thinking. But practically they are at par with a believer of the Unseen, who presents God after acknowledging all the agencies mandatory for the faith, mentioned in the Holy Quran by God, the Most High, and have influence over any such person who believes in God. And he believes in all those agencies and entities to be a living reality and a concrete fact just as materialists acknowledge a stone or a mineral object which is present before them, which they comprehend and feel through their senses of touch, taste and sight, and about which they tell us so many things. Such as there is variation in it, there is combination in it, it is balance and moderate, it has effect, there is energy in it. And they talk in the same manner about the things present in the world of matter and they believe in them in a particular manner. In other words, Just as a fan worshipper of God believes and has faith in the Unseen similarly the lover of materialism believes in the world of matter. Neither a theist can live without believing the World of Unseen nor can a materialist live without believing the matter. Both have their own approaches and the only thing which they have in common, is their faith in their respective approaches. This faith and conviction is termed as ‘life’ by them. In fact, no life is possible without faith and conviction whether it is the life of an Atheist or that of a Materialist

SEMBLANCE OF SPECIES

Our nature and instinct are two distinct and separate things. We have a mental semblance with other species like goat, sheep, cow, buffalo, dog cat, snake, pigeon, dove etc. And in our nature we have our own distinct position and status, which has been granted to us by that Divine Being, Who is Supreme and Above all species and all individuals of the universe. And this bestowal or grant is the sagacious intellect or the power of contemplation. No reasonable person can claim that animals do not possess mind and sense. In certain matters animals demonstrate more intelligence, common sense and alertness than man.

There are quadrupeds which have the striking ability of foresight Cats, dogs and many other animals can foresee the forthcoming disastrous events and earthquakes. Before the historic earthquake of San Francisco, in 1906, dogs started barking causing unrest and disturbance for die people. Water-fowls nestled on tall trees and pigs started fighting with one another. Cows broke away in sheer fright. Similarly, the rats living underground; the weasels, and many other animals made their escape from die ancient Greek city, Hellas, five days prior to the earthquake. The sky over the city of Concepcion in Chile was swarmed with flocks of terrified and screaming birds, which followed the destruction of the city, by an earthquake.

Powerful Senses

Earthquakes, usually, do not strike suddenly. Interlocking of the subterranean sedimentary rocks is the climax of the primary stage of an earthquake. Constantly increasing geological pressure brings about unusual changes in the crest and trough of the upper crust of the earth and the waves of the earthquake begin to appear in the subterranean rocks. A slight change takes place in the magnetic field of the earth. Human senses are unable to detect these initial conditional changes but the animals, in this regard can immediately feel the slightest cracking of the subterranean rocks before the earthquake actually strikes.

Man’s auditory abilities are comparatively very limited. Man can only hear the sounds having the frequency of twenty cycles per second but sound waves with frequency of more than twenty thousand cycles per second are inaudible to human ears whereas dogs, cats and foxes can even hear the sounds of frequencies of upto sixty thousand Cps. Rats, bats, whales and dolphins can hear the sound waves whose frequencies range upto hundred thousand Cps. In the ocean, fish can feel even the extremely slight vibrations. Man's range of sight is also quite poor whereas the bees can even see the ultraviolet rays. Falcon's eye sees a thing eight times enlarged than it appears to man.(Top)

There are about five million sensory cells in the human nose whereas some races of dogs are ordained with more than two hundred million of such cells and the smelling power of dogs is accordingly many million times more than the human smelling power.(Top)

Division of Eggs

One can adjudge the wisdom and Cleverness of an ostrich from the division and grouping of it eggs, It divides its eggs in three groups. It bury few of them in the sand, few are left out in the open sun and the rest are incubated. When the chicks are hatched, they are fed upon the liquid diet obtained from the eggs which were left out in the Sun. This feed accelerates the rate of nourishment of the chicks and when the chicks grow a bit, the buried eggs are dug out and after cracking them they are left in the open. This causes worms and insects in these eggs which becomes the readily available feed for the young ones of the ostrich. Later on the chicks feed themselves upon grass and soft vegetation until they themselves become adults. The planning exhibited by the ostrich regarding division of its eggs, is indeed a clever use of gifted intelligence.(Top)

The house (nest) of the weaver bird; a bird smaller than a sparrow, is a masterpiece of architectural planning. This doom like hanging nest has rooms, swings, and even ‘beds’ to rest 'This small, two inch in size, bird has this much sense and wisdom that it captures fireflies to illuminate its ‘house’. By using its prey as a Iamb it keeps its house lighted. This tiny bird knew how to keep its nest lighted much before the discovery of electricity by man and harnessing it for his use. For generations it has been using the fireflies, as bulbs.

Sound of the Rain

Kiwi, a New Zealand bird, uses an interesting technique to get its food. When despite hectic efforts it cannot find anything to eat, it produces a sound, which resembles the sound of rain. insects considering that it is raining, come out of their hidden places and fall prey to this bird.

ROLE OF RESPIRATION IN OUR LIFE

Strong nerves and powerful mind are required for learning the metaphysical sciences. Breathing exercises are extremely useful and beneficial for having elastic nerves, active mind and to enhance the working potential. When a student of the Qalander Conscious gets control over his breathing, the run functional abilities of the brain tissues and cells increase. The brain cells are charged when the breath is retained within and this provides better opportunities of arousing the hidden abilities. Spiritualists have formed rules and methods of breathing exercises which if practiced benefit at large physically and spiritually. Evidently life depends upon respiration. Whims, thoughts, ideas, perceptions and feelings exist only when the respiration system is functioning properly. The waves of health and energy enters the body through breathing but pollution, smoke and dust cause sickness when these are inhaled and they find their way in the body through respiration.
If it is conceived sitting in the open and inhaling deeply that the waves of energy and health are also entering the body and are being absorbed in the body then it does happen so. Certain breathing exercises purify the blood and accelerate the blood circulation, give boast to mental abilities and calm down the emotional excitement. Man can cure almost every disease by the breathing exercises himself, for instance, gastric troubles, stomach and intestinal ulcer, constipation, kidney's stones, flue and colds, headache, epilepsy and other mental disorders and fits, ophthalmic ailments etc. etc. The ailments of the chest, throat and nose are automatically cured if the breathing exercises are performed punctually according to the curative methods. It has also been observed that the old people, who have adopted any particular breathing exercise as a routine of their lives, stay fresh and cheerful like the youths even in their sixties and seventies. They are seldom found depressed or worried and their skin also remains wrinkleless even in the last stages of their age.
Those who perform their breathing exercises under the supervision of a teacher become empowered of transmitting their commands and directives telepathically for any desired range. I myself personally happened to experience it. Once it occurred to me, during my breathing exercise which I was practicing under the supervision of Qalander Baba Auliya, that when the life depends upon the breathing and every existing thing of the earth is enveloped in the Aura, then how it is that we take all the pains of preparing the flour, baking the bread in order to eat it. This thought, with every sun rise, grew firm and intense..
Foods Manufactured of Lights
One day before sunrise when I was practicing the breathing exercise, with my face towards the east, a thought occurred to me that the lights and other elements responsible for producing grams are entering into me. Ii saw with the eyes of my astral body; the Aura, that I was helping my self with the most refined quality of the grams which were placed before my astral body. Next day I had the urge to have apples and the lights that form the apples, gathered together in the form of apples and I had them. In short, for seventeen days I continuously enjoyed my meals in the same way and during that period I never felt like eating the ordinary edibles. I would inhale the energy needed for the physical requirements. This process of having food, manufactured from the lights scattered in the vast space, made the vision of Qalander Conscious so strong and powerful that the walls of bricks and stone began to appear as thin as if those were made of paper. I could clearly hear the voices of the far away distances. I could read the thoughts of the persons coming into contact on the screen of my mind. Strange were the experiences of those days. The gravity of the disgusted thoughts of the person posing himself pious would cause a sense of ugly smell and the delicacy of the thoughts of the one who wasn't apparently pious would always have the most pleasing effect. A world of wonders was there for me to explore.

Godowns of Lights
The ascending breath accumulates the stores of those lights in the soul of the man which enables him to emerge out of the fiction and hypothetical senses and enter into the Realm of Reality; the Unseen world. The general breathing exercises strengthen the conscious or the physical system.
The six accumulating stores of lights in man are filled up with the lights and energy because of the breathing exercises. These six stores are located al six different points in the human soul and each store permits accumulation of the Lights of specific color. The first godown is reserved for the yellow, second for the Red, third for the white, fourth for the green, fifth for the blue and the sixth for the violet colored lights. Combination of these colors forms the many colors which in fact, represent the emotions of life..

The Colorful Rays
We can see the countless shades of the blue color within the range of our sight; between the horizon and the earth. The panorama of colors seen by us comprises of light, oxygen, nitrogen and some other gases. Besides these gases there are certain shades which are either light or dark. Few other things also mix to form the sky blue color and are responsible for the variety of the colors of the atmosphere. Despite the clarity of the atmosphere or the infinite visibility there are many things present in this atmosphere.
First we discuss those lights which affect the sky blue color, in particular. What is the origin of the lights? Man does not have the exact knowledge of this thing. The stated distance of the source of the rain bow is about ninety million miles away from the earth, or to say, the colors so closely witnessed are situated some ninety million miles away from us. Now it is quite difficult to understand that what other things are present between the sun and the earth besides the rays which keep on dissolving in the atmosphere. The smallest constituent of the rays of the sun which reaches us from the sun is the photon. One of the characteristics of the photon is that there is no space in it therefore when they disperse in the form of waves they do not collide nor do they replace one another, in other words, these do not occupy space unless these have a collision with some encountering color. Collision of the photon, with any of the elements present in the atmosphere gives it space. What, in fact, is this Atmosphere? it is the variegation and the splitting up of the colors. The split up of the colors does not happen because of the photon alone but it takes place because of the loops which themselves are formed into photons. When photons have a collision with these loops, many things, like space, colors etc, are formed..

Loops in the Rays
The question arises that how are these loops formed in the rays? We do know that there are many stars or the suns in our galactic system and they are transmitting light somehow or the other. The least distance between the two suns is said to be five light-years. Wherever the lights of these stars or the suns collide, loops like our earth or other planets are formed from these colliding lights. It means that where ever the incalculable lights from the stars; which are stated to be two hundred billion in our galaxy alone, have collision, a loop is formed which is called a planet..

Electronic Camera
There are billions of cells in the brain and an electric current remain flowing through these cells. This very electric current causes the thoughts to pass through the Conscious, Subconscious and the Unconscious. One of the chambers of the brain is that in which the pictures taken by the electric current are stored and distributed. These photos are either very bright or very dark. Another chamber contains the important things but not that much important which could be recalled to memory even after lapse of years. A third chamber stores more important things which sometimes flash back to our mind according to the situations encountered. The fourth chamber is to control the routine and involuntary actions and the behavior of man Fifth chamber is the store house of the past things which bears no significance for the network of the life, but sometimes all of a sudden are recollected. The sixth chamber from which nothing is contributed to our memory but if it is brought forward is acted upon or materialized then and there. For instance, if the thought of a bird occurs, with the occurrence of the thought the bird also physically becomes present before us. The seventh chamber is generally known as the Memory.
Penetration and infusion of the mixed sky-blue color in the brain causes to change the thoughts, the feelings, the moods and the states regularly. Gradually man learns to join and connect these thoughts with one another. The thoughts which he deletes are eliminated altogether and which are absorbed become his actions and deeds. The shades of these colors, after producing various effects according to their light or heavy density are replaced by other colors. Many such replaced colors become our feelings because are they are more dark and deep..

The Nervous System
Coordination and the control of all the internal or external movements of the body is carried out by the Nervous system, comprising of the brain, the spinal cord and a vast network of the nerves in the body. The role of the nerves is very vital because the various messages of the body reaches the brain or the spinal cord through these nerves and it enables us to know what we are looking at, what we are hearing, and what is that which is being felt by us. The brain which is encased in the skull plays the main role in the nervous system. It has three portions. The Largest part of the brain is sub-divided into two hemispheres by about a five-centimeter deep slit. One of the hemispheres is called the right-brain and the other is known as the left brain. The right side of the body is controlled by the left-brain and the left side of the body is controlled by the right brain. Upper surface of the brain is composed of a light gray matter beneath which lies the thick layer of the white matter. The thinking, the contemplation and the amusement is controlled by the white matter whereas the gray matter is responsible for the reception and transmission of the messages to and from the body. It also controls the muscles of the body. The centers of the senses of the eye, ear and nose are also located in this part of the Medulla Oblongata, the posterior part of the brain controls the heart beats. Yogis, after acquiring control over the storage of the oxygen in large quantity in Medulla Oblongata, through breathing exercises, can live for long intervals of time even without breathing or respiring. They can come back to life even after remaining 'dead' for years.
The Spinal Cord, a bundle of nerve tissues, is situated in the long hole of the back-hone; the vertebral column in the form of a long string. It maintains the link of the body with the brain all the messages for the body are distributed to the body through it. The process of the expansion, and the beats of the heart is based on the electric current. The impulses of electric current causes the expansion and the contraction of the heart just like the electricity current which controls the of a machine.
The complete system of our body is composed of a net work of the nerves in which electric current keeps on flowing. In other words, we are constrained to say that the system of our body is based upon the electric current or the light, and this whole system is continuously feed by the light..

Muraqbah
Describing Muraqbah, Qalander Baba says that it is such a process which enables man to be liberated from the worldly situations and interests and even from the grasp of Time and Space. It is not possible to enter the world of the Unseen unless man is not emancipated from the clutches of Time arid Space, that is, if one is not completely free from the demands and needs of the body he cannot enter into the world of the Liberty from the physical needs does not mean that one should be dead, it only means that man should assign a secondary importance to his physical needs and requirements and should concentratively focus his attention towards that from where the physical needs are descending upon him in the from of Light
The easy way to exercise Muraqbah (the Transcendental Meditation) is that the man after adopting a comfortable posture should sit in a dark comer where the temperature is moderate. All the limbs and the muscles of the body should be relaxed. The mind should be made to plunge into a state when it is no longer aware of the existence of the body. Deep breathing helps in producing the calmness in the breathing rate. Eyes are to be kept closed and seeing in the inner of the self is to be attempted with closed eyes. The thoughts arid the deeds are to be kept pure and pious, that is, nobody should be considered bad. Mustn't have any spite, hatred, malice or grudge, if one feels hurt because of somebody instead of becoming revengeful should be forgiving. Struggle and efforts for the earning of the livelihood and subsistence of the life should be carried out diligently and with the best of the abilities, leaving the yielding results and the consequences upon God. If it is felt that someone has been hurt or he had been aggressive for his opponent in his behavior and attitude then regardless of the weakness, poverty, or the lower status of the grieved, must apologize profusely arid regretfully. The same type of things should be offered to others which he considers befitting for himself. Wealth and the riches mustn't be every thing for him rather no significance should be attributed to them. The means and the resources granted by God should be used happily and gratefully and the same should not be declared as the sole purpose of life. Creatures of God should be served in every possible way. The process of Muraqbah tones the Subtlety of the Self of the person very quickly who has the virtuous thoughts and decent habits. The colorfulness of the Subtlety of the Self results in the clarity of the Conscious.
Muraqbah (Meditation) is a process in which the orders and the directives of the preceptor or the teacher are required to be carried out in sheer obedience. If there is any resistance or defiance in the spiritual student or the associate the process of the Meditation will remain incomplete. For positive results and success of the Muraqbah complete submission of the self is of vital importance.
Muraqbah makes a man acquainted with the Inner Realm in the same manner as he is familiar with the phenomenal world. When the Spiritual associate enters the Unseen World he starts witnessing the solar systems and the countless galaxies in the Unseen World. And just as he does in this phenomenal world, fulfills the requirements of the life in the unseen realm. Introduces himself to the angels, converses and communicates with them, all those facts and realities upon which the creation of the universe is based, is revealed upon him. What type of lights are functioning in the construction of the universe, is also observed by him. What is the source and the origin of these lights, how these lights are being created, how are they supplied to the individuals of the universe, and how do the changes of the quantities and magnitudes of these lights effect the formation of the features of the universes, is also observed by him. He also notices that the source of these lights are the Anwar (Lights) and he envisions the Beatific Vision as well which is the root-cause of the Lights (Anwar); the Lights which are holding and supporting the lights become known to him
Qalander Baba Auliya, the founder of the Qalander Conscious, has devised a comprehensive system for Muraqbah; the Transcendental Meditation. For learning the metaphysical sciences the guidance and the supervision of a Spiritual Teacher is prerequisite as it is necessary for learning any other subject or knowledge. A student initially studies the ABC of the subject and then learns to construct sentences under the guidance of the teacher and later on the study of voluminous books on the subject becomes a routine for him. BODY AND SOUL

When we analyze life, we see that every man or woman wants to live a happy life. But the materialistic approach towards life causes hindrance and dismay at every step of their life as every moment of our life is perishable, mortal and variable. Moreover, we also do not know, indeed materialistically, what real happiness is and how it can be achieved. It is necessary that we should search for our Real Base in order to know this Real Happiness.
When we were "nothing", we must have been something, because not to be anything negates our being. Our material life commences from the womb of the mother. When after inception and passing through a certain process, this matter reaches its climax a living picture comes into being from nothingness. Circumstances and surrounding of this ‘picture’ provides it with such a training that it remains ignorant of the meanings of Real Happiness, what to say of the method of its acquisition.

To embrace the Real Happiness, first of all one should have the knowledge that life is not based upon the body only but it is based upon that Reality which has adopted this material body as a robe for itself. After birth, the second phase encountered by us is that in which every moment of our life dies after giving birth to another one. The moment, which is our childhood at one time and boyhood at another changes into old age from the youth-fullness.(Top)

The Living Picture
Our access to this Reality is possible only when we know that this Living Picture is not a ‘body’ but a Conscious. We are not at liberty to call it conscious only because the conscious is that medium of our identification, which is holding the whole edifice of our life together. It is in our knowledge that the extinction of body uts an end to the material density and pollution and we are also aware of the fact that the extinction of body does not cause annihilation of the consciousness, but on the contrary it is transferred to some other world.
One thing mentioned in all the sacred books unanimously and reiteratively is that man is not merely a material body but a consciousness. When we discuss the life span --- birth to death period, we come to know that the consciousness, the foundation of which was laid in the mother's womb, decreases on one hand and increases on the other. The more the decrease in the conscious the more is man carried towards the past; the advancement of the consciousness results in moving towards the future. The age factor is determined because of the increase and decrease in the consciousness. One state of the consciousness is called the childhood, the other is termed as the Youth and the third one is given the name of old age. In short, the consciousness which is maintaining this material life and upon which this body is takes the evolutionary steps, itself remains intact and constant

CREATION OF ADAM AND EVE

Study of sacred books and deliberation upon the teachings thereon reveal that Adam was created from one single soul. Basis of this creation is the Self, Spirit or the Single Point When, under normal circumstances, creation is discussed it is considered that there is an Adam for every species or every species has originated from its Adam and Eve. This is the basic set up for every species, that is, Once Adam and Eve were created into being and foundations of the generation of that species were laid. Each and every Species of bull, goat, sheep, cat, dog and birds etc., emerged from its respective 'Adam and Eve'. Just as the human beings are off springs of Adam and Eve, similarly the Father Parrot gave rise to the parrots generation of goats started from the Father-goat and pigeons generated from the Father-pigeon but all this is about the physical creation of the creatures. Everybody born is composed of a mortal and temporary body of flesh and bones which remains delicate and tender in their initial stages, then it enjoys the prime of its youth and then the whole physical system comes to an end when the limbs and muscles are dried out. These are the various states between life and death. We are perpetually given the knowledge that the being, upon which this short-lived physical system is built, is permanent and constant. The physical building remains active, attractive and pretty till the permanent being supports the physical body but when this unseen and invisible being detaches itself from the temporary being, nothing is left behind. This invisible and unseen being is terened as the Soul, Spirit, Self or the Single Point by the avatars and prophets. When through the Qalandaric approach affinity of the Qalander Conscious is acquired by the voyager of spiritualism, the inner sight tells him that this soul, spirit or the self is an attribute and an integral part of the Creator and this attribute of the Beatific Vision is associated with this soul, spirit or the self with Power and Mercy....

Study of the Self

When we study ourselves, we conclude that we have a perishable and a limited body, which is our identification. The tangible body, which we see, is composed of density, dirt, putrefaction and effluvia. Basis of this putrefaction is that every man in this world has been given to understand that he is matter; an offspring of the material world. This limited thought confine everybody in one place and every one finds himself incarcerated in the cobweb of restricted ideas. And thus results a confined and limited thinking. Every body living on this planet has categorized himself as a Muslim, a Hindu, a Parsi or a Christian though the soul cannot be denominated by any name. Because a light is only light, irrespective of its belonging to any part of the world whether it is in Arab, Europe or Asia.

The system of God is established in such a way that all His Messages which have ever come to this world are incorporated and prevalent in their own typical words. The words of Bible are the religion of the Christians, Quran is the foundation stone of the Muslim religion, Hindus worship using the words of the Bhagavad-Gita. All these books are the voices of the holy servants of God, which have spread all over the world, just like light.

When we contemplate about the creation of the universe, we eventually come to the conclusion that our universe itself is the Voice of God. When God said, in His Voice ‘Be!’ the whole universe came into being. God introduces Himself as a Friend of the creatures. Just as a father does not forget his son, similarly God, too, is never forgetful of His creatures. Allah or God, who is our lord Cherisher and who provides us with every kind of resources and make us undergo novel experiences at various stages of our life is, indeed, our Friend.

Study of the sacred books reveal that God never leaves His creatures alone, in solitude no matter how different they are in physical features from others. When we think in terms of genetics, we find that creation is taking place under a definite program. When a seed is sown it is nurtured by the ‘mother earth’ to finally become a tree. When the seed is put in the soil, it absorbs water from the soil and water after entering through the micropyle nourishes the dormant seed. Cellular division takes place in the plumule, hypocotyle and the radical of the embryo situated between the cotyledons. The hypocotyle grows to be the trunk and the radical grows into the root of the tree. The hypogeous growth of root causes it to enter the soil to absorb water and minerals for the germination and growth of the plant and its fixation in the earth. Contrary to it is, the epigeous and phototropical growth of the hypocotyle which gives rise to the trunk. The food stored in the cotyledons is consumed during the embryonic stage of the plant till it begins preparing food for itself by the photosynthesis then these cotyledons dry up and plant grows into a mature tree. In the same way, when a man puts his seed in to a woman's body, a seed like germination process is established and a notochord is formed which finally grows into fetus and then finally a baby is born - just like the sprouting of a plant from the earth

Meditation and human brain health

Meditation and EEG

Electroencephalograph (EEG) recordings of skilled meditators showed a significant rise in gamma wave activity in the 80 to 120 Hz range during meditation. There was also a rise in the range of 25 to 42 Hz. These meditators had 10 to 40 years of training in Buddhist-based mental training. EEG done on meditators who had received recent training demonstrated considerably less rise.

The experienced mediators also showed increased gamma activity while at rest and not meditating.

During meditation there is a modest increase in slow alpha or theta wave EEG activity.

Chang and Lo found different results.First they classify five patterns in meditation based on the normal four frequency ranges (delta <>13Hz). The five patterns they found were:

1) delta

2) delta + theta

3) theta + slow alpha

4) high-amplitude alpha

5) amplitude suppressed ("silent and almost flat")

They found pattern #5 unique and characterized by:

1) extremely low power (significant suppression of EEG amplitude)

2) corresponding temporal patterns with no particular EEG rhythm

3) no dominating peak in the spectral distribution

They had collected EEG patterns from more than 50 meditators over the prior five years. Five meditation EEG scenarios are then described. They further state that most meditation is dominated by alpha waves. They found delta and theta waves occurred occasionally, sometimes while people fell asleep and sometimes not. In particular they found the amplitude suppressed pattern correlated with "the feeling of blessings."

Michel Nostradamus

(December 14, 1503 – July 2, 1566), usually Latinized to Nostradamus, was a French apothecary and reputed seer who published collections of prophecies that have since become famous world-wide. He is best known for his book Les Propheties, the first edition of which appeared in 1555.WorksCopy of Garencières' 1672 English translation of the Propheties, located in The P.I. Nixon Medical History Library of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.The Prophecies. In this book he compiled his collection of major, long-term predictions. The first installment was published in 1555. The second, with 289 further prophetic verses, was printed in 1557. The third edition, with three hundred new quatrains, was reportedly printed in 1558, but nowadays only survives as part of the omnibus edition that was published after his death in 1568. This version contains one unrhymed and 941 rhymed quatrains, grouped into nine sets of 100 and one of 42, called "Centuries".

Given printing practices at the time (which included type-setting from dictation), no two editions turned out to be identical, and it is relatively rare to find even two copies that are exactly the same. Certainly there is no warrant for assuming – as would-be "code-breakers" are prone to do – that either the spellings or the punctuation of any edition are Nostradamus' originals.

The Almanacs. By far the most popular of his works, these were published annually from 1550 until his death. He often published two or three in a year, entitled either Almanachs (detailed predictions), Prognostications or Presages (more generalized predictions).Nostradamus was not only a diviner, but a professional healer, too. It is known that he wrote at least two books on medical science. One was an alleged "translation" of Galen, and in his so-called Traité des fardemens (basically a medical cookbook containing, once again, materials borrowed mainly from others), he included a description of the methods he used to treat the plague — none of which, not even the bloodletting, apparently worked. The same book also describes the preparation of cosmetics.

A manuscript normally known as the Orus Apollo also exists in the Lyon municipal library, where upwards of 2,000 original documents relating to Nostradamus are stored under the aegis of Michel Chomarat. It is a purported translation of an ancient Greek work on Egyptian hieroglyphs based on later Latin versions, all of them unfortunately ignorant of the true meanings of the ancient Egyptian script, which was not correctly deciphered until the advent of Champollion in the 19th century.

Since his death only the Prophecies have continued to be popular, but in this case they have been quite extraordinarily so. Over two hundred editions of them have appeared in that time, together with over 2000 commentaries. Their popularity seems to be partly due to the fact that their vagueness and lack of dating make it easy to quote them selectively after every major dramatic event and retrospectively claim them as "hits" (see Nostradamus in popular culture).
